Sorry for delays. Yesterday was very busy for me and I didn't get around to updating the thread. Deadline is still officially set for 8PM (a little less than 6 hours from now) but may not get on until later...

I'm witholding my vote on soundman for right now to give him a chance to claim, however if we don't see one soon. I'll try and get my vote in.

I call bullshit.

We have a dead cop, a tracker claim and a watcher claim. That's 3 investigative roles in an 18-player game, not to mention eventual JOATs/inventors that can also investigate themselves (such as BG). I'm not buying that town has 3 investigative roles and ideally I'd be trusting you and not Zimmah (based on how the two of you played so far). However:

Clarice Starling - movie character
Ellen Ripley - movie character
Rambo - movie character (also the movie title)
Egon - movie character
My character (which I'm not claiming) - movie character

Dances with wolves - movie title?

You're obviously the odd man out.

Unvote, vote soundman.

That's a lynch. Scene shortly. Feel free to talk or send night actions in the meantime.

The day was busy. Multiple people had been suspected and the actors were shifting all over the place. Finally, one of the townies stopped and stared at another person and pointed him out to the others. "This one's been following us. He doesn't look right and I think he's up to no good."

The man he had pointed up definitely stood out. He was dressed differently than the others. If one had to guess it appeared he was dressed like someone from a Native American tribe but his complexion was off. It took no time for the group to swarm around him. Before he could even react, the group had caught up to him, tied his arms and put him on trial.

Meanwhile the group was calling for blood and they would not be left disappointed. The executioner who gathered close. He looked the man in the eyes and asked him only one question: "what is your name?"

The man did reply but not in a way the others could understand: "(In Sioux) My name is Dances with Wolves. I have nothing to say to you."

The man walked away disappointed. He looked at the others and said one simple phrase. "String him up"

Soundman-Dances with Wolves (Kevin Costner)-town Watcher has been lynched.

Make Like a Tree and Split

The day had been busy for the town and with Dances With Wolves killed at their hands they wished for nothing else but sleep so that they could forget this incident. However for a few in the town there was nothing they wanted to do but destroy. One of them was particularly busy and wished to stir up trouble amongst the townies. He was banging on the door of one of the townies when he was first found.

"Hello? Hello McFly?" He yelled. "You in there? I need that report McFly. If I don't get that report, I'll get fired. You don't want me to get fired do you McFly?"

"With your attitude I think a lot of people would want you fired" the man following him said calmly. Biff as he was called produced his trade mark expression and turned to face his accuser.

"who the hell are you butt head?" He said. "Why don't you beat it?"

"I'm not gonna beat it. You're gonna beat it." The man said producing a gun.

"Hey man, I don't want no trouble from no reefer addicts." Biff said loosing his nerves. "Why don't you just put the gun away and I'll make like a tree and split."

"It's make like a tree and leave you moron." The man said pulling the safety back on his gun. "And I'm not any reefer addict"

Biff turned to run but the man's aim was true and the shot rung through the night. They were happy though. What they found was not another dead townie but a scum bag with fake papers.

Rodion-Biff Tannen (Thomas F. Wilson)-Mafia Framer has been killed.

Game Over Man Game Over

Ripley was pursuing the streets of LA. She had spent last night preparing for the Aliens. She knew they were out there and she expected to spot some of those damn cyborgs helping to slip them past security. They were near and she would make sure they couldn't cross. The people of this city had to be protected. Newt had to be protected. It was these same thoughts that were going through her head when a man in dark suit snuck up on her and fired two shots into the back of her head.

Conzocool-Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver)-Town Jailkeeper has been killed.

It is now Day 3. With 14 alive it takes 8 to lynch.

10 days until deadline.

Dear God, man. Careful saying "Game Over".

Anyway, I'm going to go ahead and Vote Edoc. On top of the whole "movie title also being a character" thing, it's also based on his pushing BG following his claim (regardless of whether or not he was aware of said claim).

We should seriously just lynch rodion N1 in every game from now on...

That said, I'm not surprised. With rodion's last post, I was rather suspicious of him. Dances with Wolves is the name of the movie title and the character. His push for the continuation of the lynch was rather suspicious. Good job, vig.

w/e I missed a claim so what. Most anyone who plays with me knows about my excel charts. And for fucks sake he voted for a NO LYNCH D2! That is so horribly bad for the town that I don't feel I even need to begin to explain the circumstances.

He had an odd claim and was the third claimed investigative role. In my opinion that is really too many for a 18 man game that means that perhaps a quarter of the town was investigative, on top of a JOAT investigation IIRC. Implausible claim at best and it is scummy of you to jump on the easiest case as soon as you possibly could. Also, you completely disappeared during the last critical days and guarantied that no matter what happened you could wash your hands of matter completely.

It's a starting point nevertheless. Getting frustrated isn't going to help your case.

I have a feeling that this game might actually be fairly investigation heavy, but I'll leave that train of thought alone for right now.

At that point, we were pretty much waiting on a claim from soundman. No point in beating a dead horse. Once he finally had claimed he was lynched within the hour. If I had been around at that time, I would most likely have pointed out the fact about the name. But I wasn't. So I couldn't.

Interesting that you're so quick to try to turn the blame my direction, though. On top of that, I'm not the first one to bring up a case against you for this. You are.

Gah! You have Sully's old Avatar! Accusations of inactivity are groundless, you are just perusing a decent lead. Anyhow, like I said, if we were wrong I was going to have to talk fast this morning, same as anyone else who hammered and investigative role.

Side note, this is not me frustrated or angry or anything, my language is just terrible. Although I do try to keep it more in check on the net I don't always do a very good job.

This would be an ok lead but edoc is way scummier right now.

I find it difficult to believe that a quick Wikipedia search wouldn't have confirmed the name of the character. Sure, the claim have been clarified by stating that this is the Kevin Costner character after he changed his name, but nothing edoc has said so far has explained why the insistence on dropping the hammer.
