I might get a lot of flak for this, but at this point I'm going to advocate a random lynch. Not much besides joking is going around. With such a large game we have enough townies to make up for it if we mislynch one today. With such a PR heavy game, everyone can just hide behind their PR and there will be very little slip ups. A random lynch will at least give us info and avoid a no lynch.

Random number generator anyone?

I'd actually suggest lynching an inactive. I mean, I do pressure them anyways, but with such a large game, the more dead weight we have going into Days 2 and 3, the harder it will be to get enough votes for a lynch. So I say we pick an inactive and just lynch them.

The problem with that is...I'm not sure who all are inactive and who hasn't gotten their role pm. Either way unless they've confirmed in thread I will not support any inactive lynch until I receive mod confirmation that they have received their role pm.

Exactly. I'd be willing to lynch an inactive rather than a random 99% of the time. But like I said, look at the number of people who haven't confirmed.

I think the list might need updating. I'm pretty sure JenBroness has posted in this thread. But I think Nark might be a good target, seeing as how we know he's around but just not playing mafia.

I didn't know these guys were in this game. (Then again with OVER 9000! players it can be hard to remember everyone)

I'm not going to accuse someone, but wouldn't a inactive townie lynched be a bonus for the mafia? i say we wait until the mods can replace some more inactives and then we lynch them. but yes, a random lynch isn't good at all, even though it does give us some leads on who the mafia is.

*external* It's easy to mistake but I think he's suggesting rather than lynch an inactive, let them be replaced. I don't believe he is saying lynch the replacement.

Voteless townie is a fairly tame role. I have no problem claiming it. Besides if I did contact Pancake and the vote disappeared it would have been noticed anyways. You're probably right though PM may have been better.

If we're actually done with the joking I'll accept the challenge and start partcipating.

Strike Wolf, why are you claiming for no reason? And why would you have no vote? That seems like a useless role completely...Almost a fake claim so that you don't get lynched or NK'ed by mafia.

And as long as you're talking to PCM on here, I guess I will.

@PCM: Why do I have 2 votes listed? I only have one right? unvote unvote

Yes, that's what happens when I do VCs while distracted by Live Chat RTs at 3 in the morning...

The original quote was lynching an inactive. We have no idea if they are townie, they could just as easily be an inactive scum (See Matrix Mafia).

As for the strike claim, I could definitely see a few players be voteless. With 32 players, it doesn't necessarily hinder getting enough votes for a lynch for 1 player to be voteless. So I have no problem with that claim, especially if it's true and he does not show up on the vote count (Should be easy to verify). Voteless mafia would be pretty underpowered unless there is some really strong night action to go with it.

You can look at the previous vote count it's been removed from victor. I assume you're refering to / from Matrix.

Yeah, we lynched the inactive and he was the Mafia Godfather. For a more recent Example, Clue Mafia. We lynched Nark because he was inactive and he was a SKer. So no, inactive doesn't automatically mean town.

Confirm.

Sorry I'm so late. I was on vacation when this started. I could tell you all that I was on a wonderful exotic vacation in Santa Barbara, enjoying my time share, beaches, candlelight dinners, etc....

However.....

Well, I had planned to do all that- but my survival instincts took over, and I had to resort to my antics from that time back when i was trapped in the mountains and wilderness for three months with no food, water, clothes. Quite dreadful. But you want to know how I survived. I drank. I drank and I drank and I drank.

Now you might ask... how could I drink if there was no water, no alcohol- no food of any kind? Well, I drank........ uh.... something like apple juice but not quite- but the same color of that I suppose if you go too long without water. It starts with P, and the next letter is one that comes before J, and then that is followed twice by the letter that comes before T.

So yes, I drank that. And I survived. And I would recommend to all of you to do the same.

Lynching an inactive can be good, but what if he even turns out to be a powerful pro town?

but a game this big, trying to replace all the inactives can be hard so some of them might not get replaced to much later in the game if at all.

Everyone has now confirmed who ain't been replaced but however we still have many that haven't posted in a while.

Jenbronnes 6 days
Talapus 5 days
skillfunsniper33 6 days
/ 6 days
lawlrus Pawn 10 days
dazza2008 10 days
ckyrias

and theres many that don't post very much at all
Vote dazza for being online and not posted for such a long time, no reason he shouldn't have posted as well as the others
