Not at all, drunkmonkey. The one in quotes is used more in the nickname sense ("The Clown" because someone jokes around a lot versus the clown that is, in fact, an actual clown).

If we don't do anything, here's what will happen.

1 - CMS lynched on Side A
2 - 50% chance Shield is lynched on Side B

Shield mentioned/implied his B role is not as interesting as his A one.

If we believe CMS, we'd lose a JOAT and have a survivor tracker guaranteed to live for 3 days. Those reports could perhaps help us, but if we have not won the game by D4/N4 it is possible that CMS sides with the remaining mafia to endgame us. It is worth noting that it would actually make sense for him to have his survivor role in A and his town JOAT role in B (by getting killed in B he'd pretty much lock his survival in A until late into the game).

Anyway, the way CMS claimed his roles interact, town is left into a worse position by killing either of his sides. In the end, I don't see an evident optimal strategy, so it all boils down to whether we believe him in A, in B, in both or in neither.

Are you suggesting he told the truth about his roles, but lied about which side is which? It's an interesting theory, and would explain why he originally cast a vote for himself on this side, if you don't buy the "got confused" explanation. If you had a way to ensure victory on one side, which meant dying on the other (but still keeping victory in reach), would you do it? I'd be tempted.

I also wonder if an invincible tracker is more useful to town than a JOAT? If so, we need to decide quickly if he's being truthful about which side he's on.

Here's my two cents:

We vote no lynch in side b so I don't get lynched (not that it's the biggest loss if we do) and then we lynch milkshake in side A and get ourselves an invincable tracker. I'm sure milkshake will side with us, altho being invincible he can choose who to side with.

And anyway, being 24 hours from deadline and having a 50% chance of getting lynched, I shall claim (and no I shall not bother going to my role pm and picking the correct blue, that's a waste of time):
I am the Cowardly Town Commuter

And crash, yes, this is the exact same role I claimed in Power Role Mafia and ended up being Mafia Ninja (I must say I had a perfectly clever fakeclaim). But if you say i'm also ninja here, you'd be meta-gaming, which isn't always reliable. So I advise you to take my word on it that I am town commuter. But if I do get lynched, who cares? Commuter isn't a strong town power role.

tl, dr: Vote no lynch in Side B to save SG7 and vote CMS5 in Side A to get an invincible tracker.

@SG7 what does your role do?

And this is probably the worst time to mention this, its going to sound Bad in probably every possible way, but i just re-read my role, and the "kill the Tracker and lose the JOAT's powers" is apparently reversible... as in kill the JOAT and lose the tracker :|

what?! so we don't get an invincible tracker, just an unkillable 3rd party VT?! (that makes me so sad, I could just scream! AAAAAHHHHH!)

Crash alright milkshake. This makes me believe your role less but at least you came out with it before you were lynched. I must say thiswill not go over well with the other towns people/

And for those of you who don't know, a COMMUTER is someone who leaves town at night, and cannot be targeted. This means for that night, no roles can successfully target the commuter. However, a commuter cannot commute on 2 consecutive nights.

So, alright...

Vote No Lynch. I believe SG7 enough to not lynch him today. Fortunately we did get some discussion going at the end. (No thanks to me, sorry). I don't see a reason to lynch CMS at this point. If he's telling the truth then his tracker ability could be helpful. And obviously his JOAT ability on the other side is pretty handy. I agree with Rodion that CMS should use his investigation ability. He could use his roleblocking ability instead but the chances of getting anything useful this early in the game are slim.

Role Side A: Definite article, noun, noun
Role Side B: Adjective, noun, noun

No quotation marks on either.

I will suggest that Shield commutes tonight and that Milkshake tracks him. The results should be revealing.

More suggestions:

Doc/Jailkeeper/bodyguard/watcher/busdriver should not worry about protecting Milkshake as he claimed 3rd-party, nor Shield as he will be presumably safe.
Cop is free to investigate anyone but Shield.
JOAT uses his investigation, can target anyone but Shield.

I dunno, whether we should lynch CMS on this side, because if someone kills his side A. We have an invincible survivor until N4 (I think), and he could easily side with mafia. And I'd rather have a lost JOAT powers than invincible survivor.

A person in a lab coat walks these city streets with wonder, how could this place have turned out so differently?
No the figure had to stay focused, everyone here needed to die. He enters the elevator and presses the roof button; he needs a better view of his targets.
As it is about to close a dazed looking man in a tweed jacket stops the door and enters with him, but doesn't press any buttons. The elevator rises higher and higher along with the scientist's apprehension until it finally peaks and the door opens. But the dazed man just stands there not stepping forward, finally the other man pushes him forward. "I'm sorry, my mission is very important, I... Think I should get used to it..." says the lab-coat wearing man with sadness in his voice. "Your existence is detrimental to the greater good" he continues.
Finally the psychiatrist wakes up "huh? What?" Egad! Where am I?!? He turns to the other "Oh it's you! Why do you have that gun? Where is Two Sides?!"
The man in the lab coat freezes, this person shouldn't be HERE! What should be done?
The psychiatrist rambles on, "I had just put myself under hypnosis, I must have wandered over to the city somewhere, hmmm, my other patients mentioned a city too, I wonder what's going on. Ah well, could you give me a ride home?"
...
...

"Sure, just turn around for a second." he placed a device on his acquaintance's back, shot him and pushed him off the roof.
Where did he go? See side A to find out.

Day Two begins!

Time to speculate.

Red highlight makes me think there is a SK here.

Would like to see both PCM and Soundman claim their "A" night actions.

I'm guessing PCM A, as the busdriver, got the weird power of swapping a player from side A with a player from side B. That means he swapped himself in A with someone in B and this someone in B was the actual NK target. Considering this mad scientist seem to be a SK, whoever PCM claims to have swapped is cleared from being the SK (but not cleared from being mafia).

I'm also guessing Soundman A saved someone in town A due to the flavour. It would be nice to know who mafia/vig/SK tried to kill over there.

I swapped myself with saf. My role only specified Side A players, so I'm not sure how I ended up over here. It may have hinted at switching sides. Nothing to really substantiate that though.

ok so if two kills can end up on one side and 0 on the other, than that means that the two mafias really DO compete against each other. (this assumed we have T/M players)
