If you guys would like I can move the deadline but I am happy with the current activity level.

Yeah, I think we've gotten all we can from this day, I don't see anything too much else to note or point out.

Interesting that everybody always says, "a vote for a no lynch is a mafia move"...yet now we have multiple people saying they opt for a no lynch on D1? Make up your mind people!

Here's my thought. I want everyone in this game to cast a vote for someone. No joke votes. Cast a serious vote with a reason why. Your reason may be weak and a reach, but at least have one.

So, name and safariguy5...ready to give up so quickly? Name, you've pushed hard for SomethingClever a few times during Day1? Yet now you say, "move the deadline up"? Getting anxious that the day is taking so long?

I'm just not sure where we start D2, if we don't get more info. In fact, we'll most likely start in the same place, just short somethingclever. Then what? We'll go for another no lynch and hope our cop comes through? What happened to all the arguments for not "following the cop?"

Anyway, I'm throwing a vote at Name for wanting to end the day early.

I have to agree with Mob about Safari.
It appears he's trying to play it both ways. he has stated a no lynch is bad unless we have information leading into night.

We do have Clever claiming VT going into night. However that does not qualify, in my opinion, as decent information going into night. Mafia knows who is Town already. We do not know who is Town. We still do not know if Clever is Town or Mafia.

The point is, we still dont have useful information going into night other then someone has claimed VT.

Vote Safari

Im not sure how to solve the day one delima. We dont want a no lynch, we certianly cant make everyone claim and most likely folks will claim VT.

lol, just to let you know i have an eight day trip near the end of march so i would prefer this to go speedy. we dont necessarily have to just make random choices, just not think painfully slow. i do think we should move up the deadline, because that way people will participate more in discussion with less time. you do make a good point against me and safari, but i think i suffiently stated my reason for wanting to end the day sooner, not before we come to a decision (a month!?).

I agree safari seems eager to end the day. While I'd like to move the game along too, it's because not a whole lot was happening. I don't think getting clever to claim VT made for a successful day, like safari suggested. I'm not sure if I want to put him at L-1 over it yet.

I think a better case may be name right now. To use nebu's terms, most of his posts are just "one-liners" which don't add much, but he's hopped on both bandwagons "to get things moving". His latest post was in response to being put at L-3 himself, he cast a vote for safari to break the tie. He's the one I find more suspicious at the moment.

so name has two votes and safari has 3. right now, i think name is the scummier out of the two as he voted for safari most likely hoping to get attention on him. i am going to vote name for this act, and i know they are both only at L-2, so i doubt they will claim without more pressure. someone should say they will vote one to "make it L-1" without the threat of a speed lynch and the player can claim and make a case without having the threat of a speed lynch.... if that makes sense to anyone besides me  . if it doesnt, tell me and i will try to revise it.

I don't believe clever ever took his vote off name, which means he's at L-1 now.

Right, so 2 VT claims. Can I say I'm surprised? Not really. But the dynamics of a small game are such that VT's generally make up the majority of the claims, either through genuine town claims or mafia fakeclaims.

So really, what it comes down to is whether we want to continue pressuring someone (me if that's what you really want), we no lynch, or we test a VT claim.

Honestly, I'm willing to test one of these claims, but I'm not about to drop the hammer unless everyone else thinks that's a good idea. If everyone wants to back off and pressure someone else, I'm fine with that.

I think the claims so far have given us more than just VTs. The names & characteristics of the claims may prove useful later. I'm going to unvote for now, as I'm going out for the night and don't really want to see a hammer without more discussion on it. If we decide to test a claim, I can cast it again later.

So do we pressure the safari to try to get a claim from him to or do we leave him alone?

thats what i was trying to think, because as people have said its rather useless trying to force another claim as they will claim VT or they will claim a power roll, i would hate to blow a power roll out of the water so i think we need to let him rest and maybe by the end of the day try to get a claim, but we need to be sure we want safari to claim before we do it.

Pressure? He's at L-2...isn't that technically all the pressure we should put on him? Well, safari? Let's have it. I believe you were one of those saying this is how it's done, so...

And given the way Safari has jumped all over someone else for not claiming at L-2, I have no doubt there will be a claim coming shortly...
