Now I don't post much but have been reading a lot of threads. I see a lot of different opinions so just curious to see what the overall opinion is. Please try and keep it on topic (yes we know you are upset about flame wars General Stoneham
).

Well, which new moderators are we talking about? The new admins? Someone else?

Sorry should have clarified, I was specifically talking about the ones being discussed on these thread, I guess the Twill replacements. I guess that would include yourself, night stike, hyasri...however you would define that.
I just see a lot of people complaining and a lot of people defending so curious to see what the overall opinion is. I know a lot of people like myself spend more time reading than actually discussing so I know there are a lot of opinions out there.
Hope that clarifies a little

I think the new admins are doing very little (in the public eye). I can't say whether that is a good, or bad thing.

i only see a few people complaining, but it looks like more because they complain about the same stuff over and over again in dozens of threads....

Absolutely, I think they are doing a good job but then again I am barely on the forums. But I have never had any issues.

I think Lockstrike is a little overzealous. OP seems to have a more level approach. And all I have see Twill 2.0 do is ban Owen (30 days)for getting called the N-word and because he thought he was a flame wars regular invading the GD.
In related news, I don't think I am going to be a premium member much longer.

There was a bit more to it than that
I keep those sort of matters between those involved, if Own wishes to share the reason I sent then he may, buts it not my place to discuss those sort of things in public.

He did share...it was for calling out Clapper in a few threads (after she was deleting posts), his "feud" with kiddicus, being mad about getting called the N-word (which shoudl have resulted in a harsh ban for the offender, not the victim) and being a "nuisance". 30 days is ridiculous. He doesn't flame, or call names. He also doesn't start meaningless multiple threads in the wrong forum, and if you look through his posts, he tries to help move discussion along, asking people to fill out forms in C&A and to stay on topic.
In essence, he does a better job modding in threads, than the some of the mods.He has been in live chat lately and is still being called derogatory names. CC is becoming RC (racist club). In fact, talk to your mods and see what they think of his ban. I would be surprised if they are on the smae page as you.

The Moderators of C.C. have used their cyber-thugs to disrupt certain threads. This method, causes the discussion to become unglued and ugly. Then the Moderators get involved and finally lock up the offending thread.
The Moderators old and new are now in lockstep together to shut down anything remotely about reviving Flame Wars. These methods that the Moderators use, with the backing of brown-nosing thugs are nothing short of FLAMING.
ANTI-FLAMING-FLAMING is ok. Civil discussion about flame wars is bad.
Up is down, bad is good, black is white.......

Is that really how you feel? Why didn't you say something sooner?

Timminz, please don't take my comments personally, even though you fit the description.

not really sure if i can answer the question yet. i haven't seen much of what hyasri and OP have done really besides removing flame wars (which i'm neutral about).
in terms of the ban on owenshooter, (for whom i apparently have some sort of homosexual attraction for according to a lot of the forum regulars), i really didn't know much about the situation, in fact i know nothing about calling out the clap nor about him being called a derogatory term. that being said, a 30 day ban is extremely harsh for someone who has promoted the CC community more than he did anything to disrupt it (although calling himself the black jesus got annoying fast).
as for nightstrike... he's been a mod forever i thought, so he's not doing anything different than before... yeah he went crazy locking threads for a bit, but hes slowed down a lot lately.
only time will tell i guess

nightstrike only locked a bunch of threads, because a bunch of stupid threads needed to be locked...

That's what happens when you're extremely busy with school and other projects. Don't worry, I'll lock and warn when I need to.

lmao, lockstrike. I think the guys are doing ok. The new twill seems very reasonable so far. As for night stick, sometimes he goes to far, but hay, he's just doing his job. OP seems ok. I guess all in all they're doing alright.
p.s. As for the owen thing I would like to make 2 comments. 1. I don't like owen and am glad he is banned. I'm sure that this was something that was building. 2. I don't like the N-word and I think that whoever said it should also be banned.

I was looking for the "They haven't done enough and more people need to be banned" option, but didn't see it.

A feud depicts two sides. I met no competition.
Find others to blame for Owen's ban. Start with Owen.
