Back from hiatus, what's the deal with Baltic Crusades?

I just came back a couple weeks ago and I'm having a great time. There is only one thing that I'm sincerely confused about... Why are there so many damn games posted on the Baltic Crusades map? It seems like 50% of all speed games are on that map and even if I search for standard 24 hour games, half of those are even on Baltic Crusades. What's the deal?

the site has lost the vast majority of its speeders or real time players , the only real multi player games are baltic in speed games that fill with in a reasonable time frame . ive noticed game wait times in the speed section are growing very long if they fill at all. ive been watching this now for the past 4 months rather closely .speed quads trips simply dont exist the odd dubs game fills but its a rare thing freestyle has basically died, assassins games i have not seen in a bit and classic esq 6 player and up rarely fill or take at least 45 mins to fill . the baltics foggy trench flat rate games are the only games filling and some of them take an hour to fill up . the games that do fill due to wait times we are seeing 1 to even 3 no shows adding even more time in a 6 player game .to put it simply who has the time to sit and wait this long . most just drop the game and i can only speculate but log on somewhere else and kill the time else where
whats gotten us here is a combination of a few things ist and foremost cc clubs premium members have dropped to a dismal number . id say maybe there are 40 daily speeders currently i see regularly ,now brings us to the second reason the foe option . this is prohibiting games from filling . take the 40 players of those its safe to say they each have one or more foes this has caused game wait times to climb to what we now see more games being dropped then starting .
its safe to say its not getting better, the site in jan had 1168 players that played 20 plus games of those a vast majority are not paying members so they are excluded from the speed section . i can say with a degree of certainty the speed section on site is on life support and its getting worse,we cant expect players to continue paying to play on a site that cant fill its games in a reasonable time fashion.
if the foe option remains in affect in this section and we dont open up freebies to include their 4 games to include speed games we may as well just go freebie.the only draw to premium in the ability to play poly games and unlimited games .i feel most just stick to the 4 games as i cant see the draw to pay to play any longer

I was reading similar thoughts on other parts of the forums earlier. My main question is why the Baltic map? Doesnt seem to be anything special about it..

It's to bad CC couldnt somehow advertise the site. I think a lot of people would be interested. I've seen streamers on twitch with 30k viewers playing RISK on steam, and it's super buggy and only has one or a few maps. CC is such a better platform for RISK style games.

its a great map if all show and game plays out . but i cant honestly answer the question, with 200 plus maps how the remaining members have landed on that particular map.all i can come up with is it fills the fastest.
@wmw that would be a start but feel the foe feature should just be removed for speed games we simply do not have the premium member base to limit a player from joining a speed game

no streamer is doing that to get their viewers though, they'd only be doing it between games or if they're an irl streamer and play it briefly
