There's never enough games to meet the demand. There's 20-something mods and almost 5000 members waiting to Whac them.

There's always a bottleneck. Please be patient and keep trying.

Ahh. I think I see what the problem is now.

Is it that the challenger / non mod position is filled and the games showing as waiting are waiting for mods?

@Raz- thanks for the offer. I am at work so its no big deal, i was just wondering why i couldnt get it.

Maybe if there weren't stupid rules like having to play 7 games even if you win 2, the mods wouldn't be so overworked with games.

This is not the reason. There are some players who join every game they can, and leave none for the rest who want to only play 7 games.

Ergo, you have some mods who create a 100 games just for others to be able to play. Even then, some players cannot control themselves even after reminders have been sent out to wait to join games at a later date in order to get others playing.

If you think you know a better method on how to run WAM, then post your suggestion in the Suggestions forum. I would love to hear your ideas.

Even when the problem is not extreme it can add up. Unfortunately, I never really have a break from my life and if I did I probably wouldn't be playing non stop. Never the less, I probably had some thirty some odd (33) games on the table, playing twenty some odd games at a time. (It felt like those expert chess players who play such crazy numbers of games at the same time.) At one point I was watching the Yankees game while checking my Google device for game updates. Several players entered multiple games; not many, two or three, but that adds up. If every player played three of my 30 games that would mean only 10 players were able to whack me.

Honestly, allowing a rule that states that you can only whack a specific mod once might allow more players to whack a specific mod, but the real limitation is the total number of mods and the total number of wanting players, not to mention that we tend to bunch up our games (yes I created 5 games at a time). It's a lot like my squirrel feeder. I fill it with peanuts, and the first few squirrels get the nuts (assuming that the deer don't get there first) and then every other squirrel has to wait until the next day's refilling.

Just create some kind of rule that forbids that, but attach a punishment to the rule. If the criteria for a medal is to win 2 games, then say a player cannot join more than 2 games at a time otherwise they're disqualified. Simple.

I'm not going in the suggestions forum and maybe this is impossible but.

If possible make each game like a tournament so it requires some sort of ticket/entry token. Send everyone 7 tokens to start with. Once your tokens are gone you have to do something else while you wait.
(Most likely complaining you want more tokens to play more of the games.)

If after a week or so, there are lots of games available and no one is complaining they didn't get a game yet, either send more tokens or make the games public again.

Maybe that would require way more coding than it did to create private games with passwords.

Not a bad idea, could definitely be discussed.

This is actually a very good suggestion. Either let them drop randomly at x rate or do/win something to get them to drop in addition to the starting number.

That should be simple enough considering similar things are done constantly.

I don't think that would be easy unless you have an excavation machine.
