Conquer Club

Hi. Im fairly new to Conquer World. I find it puzzling, weird and complicated but as that describes me as well, Im exploring and having a fair time of it. I have the feeling that Ive barely scratched the surface yet, but I will get there eventually even with my flate learning curve.

One thing though. - Amongst the games that Ive managed to start/join, theres a Randbot, which I assume is a bot as in a computer generated player. - It is however extremely slow and takes a turn over several sittings hours or even days apart...

Is that intentional to allow for players to fill up a game without being a ridiculous number of turns behind?

Or is there some sort of trick to get the bot to collect its arse, screw it back onto its rusting body and move it... ?

This is correct. You can invite people to games; that should help fill them up. I wrote a guide at the top of the "Conquer Club Discussion" forum. It's a bit out of date (the meta has changed making range far more expensive) but the principles will still help.

Dont really know anyone that plays it yet, but I guess there may be a couple that I know that might just like it. Ill try them.

Is there any red thread as to when bots do move... it seems somewhat random right off:

Ang is a new player showing up during Randbots turn, of course.

Its pure random. They have no chance of winning or even of establishing a defensive position.

You can invite me Tviorr if you want... I'm playing a game right now with just the bot and it's very slow. I'm in another game with a bunch of players... and it's also very slow haha
