fair enough caff ..kinda serious ...why not ..seems chat is a draw to site ..site needs more support ..look at post numbers on the 3 above vs game play numbers ..

Chat isn't a draw to the site, but a few people end up using it quite a lot. It's not a reason anyone joins, which would define it as a draw. Maybe it's a reason people stay, but I don't think anyone would quit CC if we didn't have chat rooms.

I don't disagree.
iAmCaffeine wrote:For community run tournaments you are granted privileges to invite players no matter your premium status. Mad777 is creating his own series' of autotournaments and wants to get them started. It's different.
What's left is fixing the actual issues with the site. The dice, the servers, the maps. Premium is cheap; people aren't leaving / not joining because of what they get from purchasing.

we cant say why so many left.... but can say why they do go premium [aka site revenue] is in jeopardy ..
you were right this wasn't a serious post but more to show the special ed class that speed games are considered a draw to premium accounts.. chat rooms forum posts are not create zero bucks yet time wasted by mods is crazy .. the rules on site are followed or its ban city in that section ..yet don't apply to the money maker speed game draw to PREMIUM ACCOUNTS ..Its just set up to implode much like it currently is ...so again perhaps its time for change and apply the mods focus to areas on site that keep the lights on or does that just make too much sense

CC is declining at a much slower rate than our 2 biggest counterparts
Forums attract between 1-2 per cent of CC users and 75% of current forum users are already premium.
As for Global chat, the talk that goes on there has actually enticed many freemiums to buy premium.

this kinda proves the point instead of dealing with viewtopic.php?f=5&t=230037&view=unread#unread our senior c$a mod is more focused on chit chat then handling the sites real issues that is effecting both our premium memberships decline and level of play on site ,,
on the main page its says ....If you wish to play casually, a few minutes per day is all that is required. If you want to delve deeper, Conquer Club offers many options for hardcore strategy game players and online Risk experts.
why we cant retain new blood is simple they log on play a few games some try speed games only to wait an hour to fill and 3 out of six db ...they clearly see no risk experts and bounce......im really persistent i know but do enjoy this place and like too see it remain ..
sigh

It was a out who had the fastest computer and internet, not who had the best strategy.

Ours I believe was the first group here. Our group started years before CC and we came here from the MSN site in '06. A bunch of us are still active and we are here because we like playing each other and our private forum. Not speed. Not public. Not chat. I've bought a ton of premiums for people over the 12 years I've been here.
I have seniority over you. I'm right. Listen to me. Point, match. So there.
Me me me me me me me me me me me
