Absolutely, I'm offering an open hand to ConfedSS, if you can agree to no more celebrating the hateful folks in your name and sig, and posts, and threads, and avatar.

I admit that I was mean in discussing them. You've seemed to be a decent bloke for CC, and I should give you a chance, according to some of the mods. I doubt I'll ever agree with you, but I can offer a hand if you're willing to change too.

SPEECH!!!!...If I could of went to Washington D.C. and gave it I would....To show the character of Lee and Jackson...As others who are torn down by History erasers....I would love it if someone let CNN and the left media of the real History of Lee as a leader of morals....Jackson who lead the way as one of the first Civil Right's martyrs ....Teaching free and runaway Blacks how to read and write...EVEN AS IT WAS OUTLAWED....RISKING HIS LIFE TO DO IT...Don't you think people should know all the facts about those who they wish to destroy...I think if you met the 2 Generals back then...You would have a not so 21st liberal view of them....You would see how they enlightened the lives of the people they would meet...

...Nowhere in my speech did I say anything against Dr.King...He would have seen that as well...He would never be blinded by today's sorry liberal one-sided views...Further more...others throughout history...Should not be forgotten...As military strategists of great value...They as their strategies are and will not be forgotten...Their tactics are tought throughout military academies around the world.....If you have a problem with them..Take your complaints to The SANDHURST military academy of England...You are there,walk over and say Hello.......As for Birthdays....I'll wish anyone a HAPPY one I want... 8-)

Meh- seems like a weird argument to say that Lee and Jackson have been erased from history. The American Civil War and its generals seem to be pretty prominent within Social Studies and History curricula in the US. Hell, they're apparently still civil rights heroes to you, despite the whole killing a lot of Americans to prevent civil rights details. Also, which military academies teach modern militaries to fight like Lee?
