This kind of map should be forbidden, if it's impossible to understand how the regions are connected, ban the map.
I can play Northwest Passage without map inspect. Yes, it's difficult, but no more difficult than some other maps with complex connections like Stalingrad or Bamboo Jack. Obviously not a beginner map, but by no means impossible. In fact, I would put the three of them -- NP, SG, and BJ -- as very similar in difficulty level and for similar reasons.

The first King's Court is nice, but the giant one is too much for me. I hate maps that won't fit on one screen. All that scrolling around to find out what the hell is happening. Even with map inspect it's difficult to get a clear strategic picture. At any given moment half of the map is off-screen. Maybe for young people will more flexible neurons not a big deal, but I really struggle.
