No. The bots are not very smart. They can only play simple maps.

Honestly I'm with the bots on this one - some of the maps on this site look legitimately insane. As a relatively new player, it is very off-putting.

Yeah, one of the glaring omissions on the site is a system for filtering maps by complexity when you search for games.

That is part of the appeal of this site, LOTS of maps and many complex ones, to challenge good and really good players. When I meet a few new players (who actually play their Guide Games) that is one thing I point out to the NRs.

Here are the current most popular maps with over a thousand plays each month.
The only ones with Advanced Gameplay are marked with an asterisk.
It looks like 4 maps could be added to the bots to go with the current 3 of the popular maps including World 2.1, unless there are other considerations like Doodle Earth and Luxembourg which are not allowed for new recruits. World 2.1 and British Isles looks like they could be added. If the bots can play American Civil War I see no problem with those two.
