Feudal Annihilation

Just wondering what other people think about this. I have had it in a few games where someone was receiving spoils and never took a territory. I looked through the logs and they were annihilating the same neutral territory every time and getting spoils for it. This is fundamentally wrong because 1. not everyone knew about this loophole, and 2. you should have to acquire a territory to get spoils.

Also if any of the developers read this, can you make the feudal games playable with bots please? they are a lot of fun. =D>

It's not a loophole. It's a normal, accepted strategy when playing escalating or flat rate games on maps with bombardments available.

While I know it's impossible to code it, I agree with him... if you successfully bombard a single neutral, it should go to zero troops and become non-bombardable. Zero troops territories could then be taken without rolling a dice. It's impossible, I know, just saying that makes sense.

Not without precedent -- Diplomacy has the concept of no troops in a region. But if we were to go by that example, then you also wouldn't get spoils for expanding into an unoccupied territory.

This has been a feature of this map since it was conceived. Learning a new map is part of the playing of this website.
