playorder in team games

hi everyone!

i´ve got a question about the play order in a team game.
we play two against two, in the next rounds there will be one of our opponents eliminated.

my question:
does the surviving opponent play one round after each of the team with two players now?

i apologize for my not perfect english, i hope someone understands my question

opponent will play his turn as normal but the guy that is out will be skipped giving you or your partner the following turn.
