King's Court II

Hello everyone,

I was thinking about playing on the King's Court II map. It seems pretty complex, but I was ready for that challenge, but then I couldn't find the king. I looked over that map several times, and just couldn't locate it. Does anybody know where the king is hiding?

Also, before I jump into that deep water, does anyone who ever played that map have any tips? guide? etc?

Invite me to a few games and I'll show you the ropes. The king is in the box in the middle of the screen. Inside the box up at the top.

The box in the middle is part of the rules of the game, but not part of the game. That's how I knew how the king should look like. I still don't know where is the king on the actual map. Thanks though.

Just to the left of where it says king in that little box, is a circle wher the king territory is actually located

I would strongly suggest you play the original King's Court before you try King's Court II. A lot of the map concepts are similar, and it's better than plunging into the 2nd generation map cold turkey.

Also, to answer your other question, the King is in the Court Table in the middle of the map. You start with one of the junior nobles. If you want to attack the king you first have to attack one of the senior nobles on that Table, then you can attack the king. It's not something you would normally do at the beginning of the game though. You want to get a good build-up going in your kingdom first, before going to Court.

Thank you both for the help, and suggestions. I think I'm going to stick to the simpler maps for a while. Thank God there are so many to choose from :)
