How many active members do we have?
what advertising does CC do to attrack new members?

7048 according to the scoreboard. Over 600000 according to the homepage. I think you can guess the more accurate number!

As for attracting new members outside of the site via advertising and the such, I don't know of any, but I could be mistaken.

Active members is 7k +/-
Home page is referring to # of accounts, which is now 738,000 +/-.

CC does have some advertisements last I heard, but I don't have info on where / how much.

So I wonder whether the number of members active on the forums as a proportion of active members is higher or lower than in the past. The forums feel dead and shit now but I wonder if they are actually relatively successful. Would be interesting to know.
