I thought people would want to know...

For those of you who don't know, notorious basement dweller owenshooter found time in between Netflix and chill with himself, and never breaking 2150 points to report me on a fabricated secret diplomacy charge for a game he wasn't involved in, and had no interest in. What happened was this:
I had been communicating with a player in game chat, and was not receiving any responses, so I went to his wall and asked him to refer to game chat and answer my question (in game chat), and reiterated much of what I had already said in game chat. Nothing I wrote on his wall was something I hadn't also said publicly in game chat. Regardless, the powers that be banned me from any form of communicating on the website (including game chat, ironically) for 1 week, which sabotaged another game I was in since I was unable to reply to a truce offer.
When I submitted a help request in protest, my primary argument was this: if something written on a wall was also said in game chat, it doesn't qualify as a secret, and therefore logically does not fall into the category of secret diplomacy. Here was the response I received-

It no longer matters if whatever you said on your opponent's wall is also stated in the
game chat. You should not post stuff that is only meant for the game chat.
Any form of diplomatic discussion between opponents MUST ONLY be posted in the game chat
in English or in a language that all opponents understand. No other methods of
communication may be used to hold diplomatic discussions between opponents including, but
not limited to, the forum, the wall, Live Chat, or the inbox.

I completely understand and agree with the part about a diplomatic discussion taking place only in chat. Totally agree. The part that made me pause was "It no longer matters if whatever you said on your opponent's wall is also stated in the
game chat." This infers two things.
1) it no longer matters infers that it didn't used to matter, but that there has been some policy change. I don't know about anyone here, but if there was a change, I was unaware of it.
2) The acknowledgment that I did indeed only say things that were also posted in chat is frustrating enough, and completely contradicts the idea of any information transferal being an actual secret.
Regardless, the point of this post is simply to let people know so they don't make the same mistake I did. I didn't, and still don't feel as if I did anything wrong. Someone in charge disagreed, which is fine, and here we are. No real harm done outside of 1 game being ruined. I just don't want other people who understand what the word 'secret' actually means, and make the same logical assumptions I did, get into trouble if it could be avoided. Good day all.
