CC on iphone or tablet - can't start games

So I generally start or join games on my laptop, not usually playing on my iphone. I recently tried to start a game on my iphone and there was no option to do so. I assume I am missing something but I really can't figure it out. I also tried to start a game on my brother's tablet while visiting and couldn't do it there either.
Anyone know whayt I am missing here?

I can however get in and play my current games, just no new ones.

I almost exclusively play with iphones and ipads, i dont have any issues right now.
Is this your first time trying to use CC on a phone? If so its likely WingCmdr suggestion where the left menu disappears to save room, and you have to click the bars.
Otherwise, not sure what it could be describe the situation a little more or provide a screen shot we might be able to help.
