I'm new here and joined my first team game thinking I could go read the rules of play for teams but I don't see any meaningful rules anywhere. Can someone point me in the right direction or to a forum topic that covers them?

Basics that you need to know.

Continent bonus are held by individuals and not by teams.
Turns are taken in order as per normal games.
You can attack each other as per normal games.
You can reinforce and deploy on your teammates if you so choose.
You can only attack with your own troops.

Riskllama is correct, there is teamchat in the game via the tickbox so you can chat away without your opponents reading it.

Turns aren't taken in order as per normal games. Normal you go red green blue yellow. Team games would be red blue green yellow for dubs etc

Thanks! I figured out the order pretty quickly but reinforcing and deploying on teammates wasn't obvious. I started playing based on team continent bonus. Oops.

Probably not my style of game unless I know my teammates but I'll finish what I started.

I tried PM'ing my teammates but no response. I'll check out the team chat option. I am only playing one team game. No need for more until I understand it better.

Check out the Society of Cooks in the forums. You get the chance to learn the basics of the game and advance. Once you graduate you can go onto team training and learn from some good team players. Also you will team up with other players who enjoy team games. There is an awful lot to playing a good team game it is a lot more than a group of players being on the same side.

You'll find it best to have partners who you know will talk and discuss. Joining onto random teams you don't know is rarely profitable.

i completely disagree. i love me some strange...seriously love that strange ass. they usually will give you oral pleasure and let you blow a load all over places my actual partner wont. you dont have to really worry about much as far as your behavior goes. its the diseases you gotta look out for.

although very clean and disease free, i am very surprised that i havent contracted anything. even playing with herpes on here as often as i did, i was one of the lucky ones. there were others that still cant talk about it.

i would suggest asking bogangod to teach you. he loves to teach newbies.

"Continent bonus are held by individuals and not by teams."

So does the continent have to be owned by just one color or can it be teamed owned and if so, who gets the credits?

Some people, who are medal hunters will join a lot of games with random teammates to get the teammate medal...its not usually a good way to obtain or maintain a high score or have fun game play.

That's my point, I'm just lazy.
