I don't really think anyone is saying tic tac toe will save the site or drive membership up, so seems a bit dramatic. And since it can't be blamed on the downtime, I'm not really sure what the point / sentiment really is...

Can we get Connect Four. It is more fun than TicTacToe.

something to do while waiting for your das schloss poly 4 trench speed game to gain a player? Well maybe some people who ended up here randomly will click on it that's kinna the point i guess.

I think the point should be that however much time was spent adding tic-tac-toe and those other games, it was too much. That time could have been spent on something that would actually make the site better.
