I already have tampermonkey up on my chrome, but can't for the life of me find out where do get BOB. If its at https://userscripts.org/, it keeps coming up "This webpage is not available". Any ideas?

I don't use BOB any more, but I do recall there was a lot of discussion when userscripts.org folded. A lot of people put up their own copies at a variety of different hosting sites.

If you go to the BOB discussion thread: http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=526&t=161049#p2104087 there is a note right in post one of that thread about some temporary download site called zack. No idea who or what is zack, but you might want to check it out.

Thank you macbone.

But:
1. a note comes up: "Apps, extensions, and user scripts cannot be added from this website." with an OK box to click beside it
2. if i ignore that and click on BOB.user.js, a box comes up with a big red X titled Windows Script Host, with 6 lines of info and and OK box. Clicking that box just closes it and i'm back to that page again.

Any thoughts on this?

Would macbone or anyone else care to respond please?

I clicked on the same link and I saw the full script. That's with Firefox and Greasemonkey. I don't use Chrome so I can't give you any details, but from what I've heard it works fine in Chrome. Maybe you have some kind of firewall or something that prevents you from auto-installing? Maybe try saving the .js file as a text file and load it directly.

OK, you do have Tampermonkey, right? Right-click on the link for BOB. Here's what I get:

I click "Update", and I'm done.

Thanks macbone, but where do I find this link for BOB? I am on the page Userscript Sources, with 5 different sources listed. I've tried them all but can't find BOB anywhere.

I found those directions unclear also (though they got me pointed in the right general direction, so thanks for that). For anyone else wanting to know:

1. Once you install tampermonkey, click on the icon at the top and select "go to dashboard". Then select the "Utilities" tab.

2. Follow the "zack" link others have posted, right-click on BOB link and choose "copy link address". (Or copy this one, working at least for now: http://privat.bahnhof.se/wb993794//User ... OB.user.js )

3. Go back to the tampermonkey tab (still under the "Utilities" tab within the tampermonkey page), and the bottom option allows you to import from a URL. Paste your BOB link in there and click "import", then choose "install".

Then the rest works for me just like BOB always has. Hope this helps!
