Separation Anxiety

I believe it's about time that we branded all the players who've publicly said they were leaving yet are still here for some reason. Please even let's tag the ones that were multiple offenders, no matter if they're still here or not.

We have to keep tabs on these individuals for they most likely have some horrific form of addiction and can't be trusted past a stones throw. I mean, Why would you say something like that and then slug back into position acting as if it never happened? Doesn't that seem sketchy to any of you? It's not coincidence either that they always manage to blame their melt down on things they wished the site would improve or obsessive ideals they wished the mods would adapt. I think it has to do with the personality type, and more even their personal life not being in order.

During my stay here at cc's 7 star resort I've noticed this seems to be trend-worthy amongst tired vets and burnt out adolescents. Are we supposed to care or should I too carry a more false sense of entitlement? Yeah maybe that's it, because I've been here long enough to where you people fucking owe me something am I right?

Dig deep everyone, don't let this ring.. this attention prostitution ring poison our forums.

latest AAFitz meltdown
The Woodruff Phenomena
b00060 craps out
We're holding you too it Kernow!
Cardiac Arrest
We'll miss you more!
Femme Natascha
The Blood of Black Jesus

P.S. Stephen Wayne doesn't count either because he man'd up and took responsibility for him needing to leave to handle real life and left the door open that he might return. In which he did so gracefully and has come back a better person by divulging far less of his personal information into the interweb. Seriously though, give him a pat on the back he's been really showing some effort.

What happened to your medal JR? You seem rather broken up about that, well with your recent pecking around in the forums kicking dirt up on anything that remotely relates to you n' all. If you have something to say than go ahead and get it off your chest there guy.

Or are the voices telling you to get some sleep because tomorrow might be blue? Some would go so far as to say you never were the actual possessor of the balloon and that's why you will never receive a medal for it. Because you were never conqueror.

Would you adhere to this? Is that why you still linger around the site, clenching on to anybody that will offer you recognition? Retired you say, well okay then if you say so.

Now I am a firm believer in affirmations but sometimes no matter how many times you say things, they just won't become true. Don't mean to be the bearer of bad news.

*AAFitz is being added to the list, JR, you're on thin ice already with this retired talk but just don't make a goodbye forever thread and you should keep some meager amount of dignity.

I do appreciate your forwardness and in a bar that kind of assertive flirting would go along way with me. And I don't wan't to hinder your asking questions in the future for that is how we begin to create a better reality, but rules are rules and I'm going to need to see a public moping thread.

But I did find a couple more while you were standing around looking cute.

Woodruff and b00060* added

Oh noes. Does it count if I just mope a little bit? Or does it have to be like full on moping? Is there a scale of moping with a treshold I have to cross to be accepted?

I appreciate keeping me out of the list but i think i should be on there. I had good reasons for being gone however i did make a big deal out of my leaving (or at least tried to) and if you dont know or believe why i was gone then im just another player to clam loyalty then run.

Here is the actual formula for getting on the list:

Public display of noticeable moping through a text base medium times dice fury then divided by need for peer approval, with a common denominator of restlessness.

I hope this helps.

I'll meet you half way and add the link into your name but you'd have to prove to me that you were lying if you want it in the actual list. Which is a catch 22 because I remember telling you that if it was that I take everything back and hope you get hit by a car.

owenshooter added to help further commiserate.

Funny although it may be that people actually bought into his farewell, it's important to note here that he has done this other times in half vain attempts to ressurect General Discussion's beating heart.

Each time causing an equivalent amount of separation while also at the same time allowing for adequate amount of bereavement to best stage his return. He is a vital artery in the life blood of our fora but still a bit of a ponce move IMO.

Never the less, a warm welcome back is due. Nobody plays on our heartstrings quite like The Beej. He's like a restraining order gone wrong that somehow keeps on waking up next to you shirtless and asking, "What's for breakfast"?

I emailed our clan leader once to tell him I was taking a "small step back from cc" wanted to keep warring but no practice maps, etc. That was 6 months ago. I just sent out invites for practice maps haha
