looking into a few they don't even play games they just log on to site go in chat cause havoc and all for free ...

that's just 3 of the huge number of freebies that in some cases tie up mods constantly ..make them pay to play chit chat clearly there not playing risk!!!!

Speed people left when the speed rules were changed, not because of db. Usually the freestylers were also speeders.

It was a out who had the fastest computer and internet, not who had the best strategy.

lol, he was giving you possibly the widest held belief about arguably the biggest mass exodus of players from the site, zeke : a substantial number of FS players(and a very large % of those players played ALOT of FS speed games) quit the site entirely when the FS rules were changed. geez man, you should try listening once in a while - you just might learn something... .

he must have filled them pockets elsewhere and is clearly a compassionate type to have sites mods tied up in chit chat vs game play ... even you must see the draws to membership are limited at best..speed side was one of the main ones for me i can say for many that have left as well ...24 hour games are ok for some but look at the freestyle players lost were the hell they go ...were did the assassin players go ..i am telling u the db epidemic caused some of them to leave not all for sure ..can i ask if in chat and a member gets 24 hr ban do those ppl re offend daily ??

I do not go out looking for infractions in the forum, if they are reported then i will investigate them when I have FREE time, not when you or anyone else demands it. I am under no obligation to ever act on anything.

The issue isn't players leaving.. the actual issue is far less players are joining. Since 2006, 830513 accounts have been created. The rate at which new accounts are joining has dramatically slowed, the rate they are leaving has been steady since 2006. What we need to do is increase the join rate again.

As for the C&A case, I am sue ES will get to it, but the same as me.. he is only a volunteer and does this in his free time

It’s funny you mention a part of the site that you feel needs to be looked at (tournament) while in fact it is 2% of your game count (after being 8 years at CC)

I can’t speak too much about other place such as chat but as far Tournament I can tell than it is at a pace relative to the amount of « active » players, no needs to add any « wall message option », most of the time the timeframe to fill those up are fair, you should perhaps participate more often to both (casual and auto) and you may find out by yourself.

im pointing out that one of the draws to premium is tournament section ...if u are wall messaging players to join shows me that once plentiful section is also hurting thus taking away another key reason to even go premium ..also i feel there is not much of a draw to premium accounts m8 ...

i dont care much for tournaments personally i dont find casual games much fun to be honest ..only a handful pay to play now as it is some pay to show support to the site but not many ..

those who pay to play more speed games only to wait a long time to play then find out 2 have logged off and another one or two quit the game or db it really isn't attractive now is it ..then when the cancer goes unchecked it spreads much like it has now yet we enforce chatting rules a side to site creating a small amount of subscribers yet allow the game play rules to be violated on an hourly basis a direct draw to members subscriptions just seems wrong to me ...

good for you to take the time trying to fill those events but if we cant address the issue of attracting members to go premium i fear its going to get harder to fill games in tournaments and speed games as it is now the case on site ,,,no one will pay to play speed games sooner then later if we dont address its current issues ,,,

You seems to also lack what does attract online player those days/years, mobile platform, most of the active online player use the App Store to download games, there is game that are way more complex than CC but use thousands of active members, until CC move to one of those then you won’t get any increase of activity, most of the new members are “come & gone” seeing the “old style” play mode of this site and do not get hook to it.

last reply to u ...i am a volunteer on poker stars and am well aware of what it takes time wise i am also a player .i can put personal feelings aside if someone i knew was cheating on poker stars and ban them ...

Until they fix the notification bug, I cant fault anyone for missing speed turns.

Now there is no tone/notification when your game is ready, so if you dont watch the screen non stop, you often time miss the start of a game, or your turn.

all i can speak for is myself in the 3400 plus speeders ive played it works i have never had this issue ... if i see a member missing turns i wall them it does help but in most cases they log off due to game wait times ...in some cases 3 hours ...
