Right, I was looking for monster royale not Anniversary event, but it's there indeed.
Actually, it wasn't.
I was confused between the Anniversary event and the Christmas event. I saw the Christmas link still up and thought that was it. Once I realized my mistake, I went and fixed it.
So you were right the first time.
