Heres a joke I saw in 1996 when the internet was new.
What I do is make a fake quote and pretend that this is what you said.
As a gag, do you find it as timeless as I do, or do you think I should move on?
I do it quite a bit and find it hysterical every time

Five years later and Master "Bates" Bush is still waiting for his name to be updated
At this point it would be simpler just to get back together with his ex-girlfriend.
