How does freestyle strategy

I looked around for a tutorial, but if one exists, I couldn't find it.

How does freestyle strategy differ than playing sequentially? Is there any hazards to look out for or benefits to take advantage of?

They want to know if there are strategic advantages to freestyle.

For some there is. As koolbak says since you have put off joining a game..

Freestyle might not be for you since once you finally get back everyone else would probably have taken their turn.

Then again there is a certain strategy where some go last for a reason I never learned maybe that will be your style.

Jump in and start practicing. Maybe join some of those society of cook games and lurn while you burn.
