Why TeeGee appears to have stopped moderating the forums

Postby TeeGee on Wed Dec 09, 2015 4:29 am

Hi

some of you know what is going on others don't, but as it is now affecting my CC life it is only fair to make it known.

About 6 months ago we found out that my wife had a brain tumour, they removed it and it was benign and a slow but steady recovery plan has been in place. During the surgery her optic nerve was severely damaged and part of the cerebellum was removed as a precaution . Over the last few weeks things have taken a downhill turn, she has become very child like and has had many severe headaches, we are not sure why and are awaiting results of tests and of course more tests, as such over the last few days I have missed turns. For this I apologise.

I do not plan to start any more games of any description for the time being, but will hang around the forums a little bit.

You have my sincerest and heartfelt condolences. I do know what you are going through. On Dec 6th, my wife lost her 15 month battle with cancer. My tears are with you. Mine has flown, and yours may. Blessed be. This is a beautiful distraction. But she is the important part of your life. Be with her.

I was just in the forum to earn a free token:

CC10 Forum Bash To encourage community participation this activity encourages people show their CC love on the forum. Anyone that posts in the Conquer Club Discussion section of the forum will receive a Token.

And I can't think of a better way to "earn" this than to wish you, your family and everyone else who ventures through here all the best during this holiday season. Take care TG!

Thanks again everyone. It really means a lot to us.

And a special thanks to Silly Knig-it , I can not imagine the pain you are going through right now, but to take time to write that to someone who you have only crossed paths with in an online game is something that is very heartfelt and I will not forget it. Thank you my friend.
