Things like this (dismissing real problems affecting several people) will only accentuate the dwindling of the site's population.
EDIT: Several of us have also pointed out that CC is the only site suffering from lag in our computers. No need to use an Internet speed checker or any of that nonsense.
Try turning off all add-ons such as BoB, Maprank etc etc and disable Greasmonkey or Tampermonkey.
Done that kiddo. They no longer work anyway, can't be fucked with attempted roll backs etc.

Almost 10,000 active users and complaints of lag issues are from less than 20 members. And none of those complaining are willing to do what was asked from them so that we can look into the fault.
It sounds more like trolling than actual asking for real assistance.
Your response was a troll, and under previous management would have made you guilty of baiting. Get your head out of the sand. Don't blame the users. Have done ping test etc.
I was somewhat undecided, but now I'm 100% convinced -- ever since I moved from my wife's computer to my laptop. On my wife's computer, I was very often getting lag and timeouts. On my laptop, I almost never do. I didn't want to use a laptop, because these tiny keys are too small for my big fat fingers, but my wife was bitching about me constantly hogging her computer and I finally made the switch. Guess what? Games load first time, every time. I get no timeouts or lag except on extremely rare occasions.
Still going through the same cable modem and the same router. Still using the same version of Firefox with mostly the same settings. Yet, CC crawls on her computer and jets along on mine. There's only a few minor differences. Hers has Windows XP, mine has Vista. Hers has an antivirus installed, mine does not. She has JRT installed, because she plays Pogo games, I do not. Hers has Foxy's version of Assault Odds, mine only has dgz's version. Dgz's version of Assault Odds doesn't work, and there's no place to download Foxy's any more, so if I need to calculate an escalating sweep I still hop over to my wife's computer and use the functional version of Assault Odds. I also hop over there if I need to write a long post, because it's still easier to do it on a real keyboard than the Lilliputian laptop keyboard. For the most part, though, I've gotten used to this thing, and an ordinary short post like this one I'll still crank out on this thing.
So yeah, switching from one computer to another, even on the same home network with the same router, was like night and day for me. If I wasn't sure before, I'm 100% convinced now that the problems the laggers are reporting rest with their systems, not with CC. Maybe your antivirus is hogging too many clock cycles, maybe you have JRT installed because of some other game you're playing, maybe one of your Greasemonkey scripts has some non-optimal routines in it, maybe something else. If there was something fundamentally wrong with CC's servers, the problems would be affecting everybody.
