Targeting Backstabber?

Postby bubbleboys on Mon Apr 06, 2015 3:37 pm

Is this allowed?
Am I allowed to enter every game they are in and just look to destroy them whenever possible?

I just got blatantly backstabbed by someone in my games with a clear border agreement that they explicitly agreed to.

BTW if anyone's curious about who never to trust an agreement with, it's guilo

You're asking two different things here...

A) Can someone enter every game you're in and just try to destroy you - no.

B) Can someone violate a treaty they agreed to in a game with you... absolutely yes. Diplomacy and betrayal are fair parts of the game as long as all agreements are made in the game chat.

Since he's played with you in just one game... I would say scenario A above does not apply.

Thanks for the reply

Am I allowed to post into every one of their games warning the other players?

I understand that betrayal is allowed by the game, but I don't personally accept it.

you can do whatever you want... however, he didn't violate any rules and that occurs on a pretty regular basis on CC... so, at the end of the day, he would probably
file a complaint against you in the C&A forum and you would receive a warning for your actions (at the least)... seems like you need to suck it up cupcake and grow
a thicker skin.. CC is not for you, if one treaty being broken has sent you off the deep end... sorry about your little butt... the black jesus has spoken...-Jésus noir

The first rule of the community guidelines says "Don't be intentionally annoying". So I don't think so.
You can just give him a bad rating, though in his defense I did read your chatlog. When you make a truce, you should add the rule '1-2 turns notice' to your agreement. Or say "the one who breaks the truce, gets attacked first next round" or something of the sort.
You didn't seem to have mentioned anywhere the conditions of breaking up the truce so keep that into account.
Having said that of course, you'd be the 2nd one rating him 'backstabber' in merely 72 ratings, which is quite significant imo.
