like say pay 10 bucks for a box of 10 clover stars.
then for 30 bucks you could have enough for the event, plus have 8 clovers left to look at and feel good about.

never would i ever pay $30 to enter a tournament, people aren't even paying for the conquer cup any more

me neither. what's the point? isn't premium membership enough to join events?
why can't you just say. "Hey, it's st. patties day. i wonder if there is an event going on i can enter
<checks event possibilities, finds one with no requirements for entry>
wow! look at there. here is a st. patties day event that i can enter without jumping through hoops. wow! look at all the other people here having so much fun in the event, i'm sure glad i joined this event"
i mean, it's hard enough these days to fill a game (i hear), why make it impossible for an event?

I can't remember the last time I played in an event because the restrictions were so goddamn tight.

That's not the point being made though. The issue is that for those who did reach 44 clovers, or even more than 22, all those extra ones are being disregarded instead of carried over, which isn't fair.

I understand, and I agree that it isn't fair. I'm just saying that it was likely lowered because next to no one got 44 clovers.

I would love to see tournaments, etc., available to those of us who can not play speed tournaments. So, meantime, I have really pretty clovers for sale. These are straight from my inventory untouched by actual effort to get them.

I got ten by not participating as well. On the one day the event was ongoing I had no time for speed games. Why not run the event for two or three days? It's been said many times that one day events don't work.

Statistically, they have worked. The record for games created per day are all held by the 1-day events.
