Ancient China - Warring States Era
Mapmaker(s): Wikipedia
Number of Territories: ~36
Special Features: I don't know. Maybe you could put in the Great Wall of China, various rivers etc.
What Makes This Map Worthy of Being Made: First off, this period might have had the most Risk-like conditions in the history of the world: a bunch of little countries all fighting to be unifiers of China. Second, ancient China lends itself
to being a Risk map far better than some of the ones you' guys have actually made. Three: It fills a gap in your map collections. You have very few Asian maps, and zero ancient Asia maps than I'm aware of.

I picked this one because it has the most territories

But there are some better-looking ones out there with fewer territories, like this one:

Perhaps the territories could be sub-divided

There's a Three Kingdoms map. Obviously it's not the Warring States period but it is ancient China.

There are also various maps in SE and East Asia, albeit mostly modern era. A few in China (incl. Hong Kong), Japan, Korea, Thailand, Far East etc:

The only other classical/ancient Asia ones that spring to mind are the Three Kingdoms of Korea and Mongol Empire but there might be others.

Obviously China and the Indian Subcontinent are of global and historical significance that far exceeds the fraction of this site's maps dedicated to them, but this site is full of pig Westerns who think the world revolves around the US and Europe so I wouldn't hold your breath for any dramatic shift in the balance if I were you.
