Hey Guys,
We will be starting a mod-interview series in the 2nd issue of the ConquerClub Newsletter, and the first mod we are going to interview is Tournament Director and Global Moderator,
Night Strike.
Please post any questions you may have for him in this thread, and he will answer them in the 2nd issue of the Newsletter.
Thankyou all,
samuelc812

How does it feel to be in so many interviews in so many recent newsletters?

Why do you allow your political views to influence your moderating ?

Unless you have proof to base that question and not just upset that I'm a conservative, I'm not going to answer it.

Don't deny it NS! You're not even a conservative, you're right wing! ...by UK standards anyway. The US is generally further right than the UK.
My question(s): Are you paid? Who pays you? How much do they pay?
Rocket.

Why are you unable to see the difference between someone who makes a joke and a troll?

As a moderator what are some things that TOs can do that would make your job easier?
Have the efforts to showcase TOs with medals/Hall of Fame reduced the number of deadbeat tournaments?
thanks NS and nice work...I always get a quick and courteous response from you.

The proof is clear to anybody who has seen how you moderate, perhaps you are in denial.

Guys this is just silly. If you not going to take this thread seriously and your just gonna take the piss, don't bother. If you want to discuss night stirkes conduct do it through the appropriate channels. Right now this thread is being saturated with sarcasim and bullshit.
Why don't we get this back on topic so that the newsletter can get some good content?

How did you unwillingly become indoctrinated into the mod way of life? Please recount for us the horror of how you became cursed as a moderator at the hands of the insatiable and sinister Twill...

I would have thought that the newsletter would be more interesting if the ' awkward ' questions were addressed rather than it just being a cosy chat !

What kept you coming back to CC, before you were mod?
What keeps you coming back to CC, now that you've been a mod for a while?
What are your thoughts on monkeys?

Knowing everything you know now, would you still choose to become a mod today if you were offered a position?

Just to make it crystal clear to everybody, as soon as I saw samuelc post the thread first announcing the upcoming CC Newsletter, I immediately threw my support into helping it take off (hence why the thread was stickied). I felt very privileged when he sent me a PM a few days ago asking if I wanted to do the first interview, so I immediately agreed.
If you do not like this newsletter or hate me, do not post.
It's way past time for individuals to stop trolling and to start finding ways to positively contribute to this forum. And here's a hint: the more that people contribute rather than troll, the less you see the moderators moderate.
As far as my interview goes, I don't mind answering questions about tournaments, but I'd prefer to answer general questions about CC and my time on the site. (And it looks like I got severely fastposted.)

ahhh, i forgot that the GD is now simply a tool for gimil's newsletter!!! my bad... BACK ON TOPIC!!!!! why don't you put questions for future issues in a section of your newsletter, and people can submit them to you or post in the thread? you know, that will you will get people that are reading your newsletter to submit to your newsletter. generally, when i read a magazine or paper, the letters to the editor, etc are within the publication. i don't wander down to the shop to submit a queery, right? the black jesus has spoken...-0
p.s.-NS is one of my fav mods, i don't care what anyone else says...
p.p.s.-word up, NS, you just can't stop reading the "p.s."s!!! ha!!
