Get Out and Push

Are you tired of being surrounded by liberals? Are you having a hard time finding other Conservatives in the Conquer Club forums? Interested in learning more to defend your conservative beliefs?

If these questions describe you, then there’s finally a group for you. Get Out and Push (GOP) is a conservative-only group designed to bring like-minded individuals together in a friendly atmosphere. This group will spend time discussing such topics as the stances of the Republican Party, current events, and the occasional “Dem bashing”. Recordings from Rush Limbaugh are always welcome.

Requirements for membership:

• Be a US Conservative, or a non-US citizen with similar viewpoints
• I would prefer for you to include a link or two to forum posts that you have made supporting the Conservative Ideals
• Be an active Conquer Club member
• Conduct yourself respectfully and intelligibly in your posts

Do NOT join (or even post here) if:

• You’re a liberal
• You’re a racist or make racist comments

Group notes:

• This is a discussion/social group, so it will not affect your membership in a one-clan group.
• Public discourse is greatly encouraged and will take place by many of our members, but everybody needs a place to regroup and escape from the eyes of others. Do not try to sneak into the group if you completely disagree with us; you will be removed.

Well, the difference is that they basically fastposted me in getting this up (I've been discussing it with others for about a week). I discussed it with japs, the thread starter, and he has joined me as an assistant leader. Everyone that posted in his thread is extended an invitation to join this one.

Ya Black Elk Speaks, luns101, and Only Ambrose just received PMs from me notifying them of the merge.

I would consider myself an ardent libertarian (politically conservative, but liberal on social agendas).

Is this group for political or social conservatives? Is it a christian conservative group?

Are socially liberal non-religious conservatives welcome?

So I see the proposed member list in the first post, and I do not see a response to my query, nor do I see my name on the proposed member list.

Is there something I should be inferring?

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a timestamp on there at all... Though seeing as how this is the second conservative clan thread and how there was a liberal one long before this, soka's post is extremely ironic.

In. I was so outraged when I heard Obama had gotten in I nearly spilt tofu on my Guardian

I want in! I'm a conservative. New to the site, but am looking to get more involved.

I'm a populist, fiscal conservative, social liberal. I also like to speak bluntly about race issues - to those who are consumed by p.c. culture, that can often sound like racism, but I'm far from a racist. I'll join, but it's a call for you to make whether I meet your criteria... you can always just kick me out later if I piss people off.

The forum has been created, but it's going to be a few more days until I get some simple guidelines/etc. posted. So please don't post until then.

We will be taking new members as well once the forum is set-up.

I'm really looking forward to this. I'll bet my forum activity spikes like when the JF was really active on interesting topics!
