I told you someone from Wales is a whale. Thanks MEDEFE for backing me up.

I did not back you up, I just didn't comment on it, I actually think it would be a Welsh person, not sure what the language would be called... possibly Gaelic.

Welsh person. Welsh language (if speaking of it in English). "Cymraig" properly.
Whales congregate in schools.
Welsh congregate in pubs.

Incidentally, I thought the name for the Finnish language was "Suomi". So a guy called Ussi (or was it Yussi?) told me anyhow.

He probably spells his name 'Jussi'.

I am an atheist. I am also think the scientific method is on of the best inventions of man. So I want to take issue with the implication of that the world trade centers would continue to exist except for the existence of religion.

A University of Chicago professor has completed a study of terrorism. His conclusion is that there is no evidence that "religion" is the common thread in terrorist act. In fact, at least half of the terrorism attacks in the last 40 years are from secular groups such as the Tamil Tigers. He did find one common thread. Terrorism, as a tactic, arises whenever a people find their country or territory occupied by foreign forces. He also found that the terrorism stops when the troops leave.

=D> What reason is all about.

Could you provide a link or some general direction towards that study? Sounds interesting.

Also, to stay with the general theme of the thread:

Question

Postby MarVal on Wed Oct 15, 2008 4:18 pm

Hello Juan Bottom,

Are you still recruiting, cause this thread is more to become a discussion thread. And you know that there are other forums for doing that. The thread you made here is only for recruiting new members. It lost now its purpose.

For further discussion you can go to your own clan forum and so on. But not in here.

So, please can you tell me what the need and purpose of this thread is now? Thanks.

Grtz

I just listened to an interview of the professor by Scott Horton on the radio. I will review the podcast and get the name of the professor for you later.

I completely agree.

But its easier to get support when you claim divine revelation. I know this, god told me.
