Also...I think 3rd Crusade would be a good map for this kind of game as well. There's plenty of little bonuses so everyone can carve out their own little empire.

I'd like in on this if it still exists, jig. A Third Crusade 8-man with decent players is CC at its best (and also worst).

Those are good fun.

Conquer Rome makes great games as well.

Yup, in a few of those at the moment. Can't get knocked off early due to barbarian starts, so generally a good game. Big fan of Battle for Iraq on that setting.
