[Hall of Fame]

Just think it would be good!. There could be categories chosen and a members Hall of Fame could be started, There is room on the scoreboard for this.

This is just early input, sorry if it's already been talked about.

So if we get interest and it's not a bad idea, we can then chat and maybe get a Hall of Fame going..

why not, but what would it be, by categories?

-most infamous
-biggest forum poster
-most tournaments won
-most tournaments held
-most clan wars won

and so on?

Would you need to be retired before being elected to the hall of fame?

I was thinking that you could change that into a clan hall of fame within the clan tab.

It would be great to have all the winners of all cups/tournaments/leagues written somewhere.

That's a good idea

A Clan Hall of Fame is an excellent idea!

Maybe we should get more clan people to look into this... I would love to see it!

Clan medals that show up on the clan tab / clan area?
Different ones made for each event etc would be interesting

wouldnt it be good to have a scoreboard for clan memebers so u can easy find all clan members and see the data on em? include maprank and such...??

think i mentioned this to a clan director a while ago could include MVP etc. i recall they have something in the pipe line already
if not it still a great idea.

It would be nice to see a list of who has won all the major clan titles over the years. CC, CL, RL etc. We can find this info if we search for it, but would be cool to have in one place.

Then a players one as is said above... who has won MVP each year in the various divisions and whatever else.

I was thinking that too. There could also be different trophies that represent the MVP's and such. A display case if you will.

For the players, I think even beyond MVPs it would be great to have players recognized for outstanding achievements in the clan world.
Like, say, a player might be elected if he wins 500 clan games, even if he wasn't named MVP of any competition - that's quite a substantial contribution.

Maybe a player could nominate someone for induction, and if he gets a certain amount of other players to endorse it, the CDs could pull together his clan résumé, so to speak (games won/lost, medals won/lost, clan leadership or similar contributions) and put it to a panel of voters (CDs & Friends)?

So it could be like an actual Hall of Fame - which includes records of all competitions, including winners and MVPs.

Thoughts on that?

if we want this we can take care of this, why this needs to be on clan tab?

we can make HOF here in clan section and later it can be a part of clan tab (or not)

I agree. For the time being, it could simply be a thread documenting all major titles won to date, then minor titles, then individual player titles.

Any future awards could then be added to it.

@ Sempai: As for the winning of clan games, it kinda doesn't give any indication of how good that player is. It should go by % of wins, so long as they are above a certain number of games played. Afterall, some clans play way more wars than others. Some clans are new and so on. Number of games won alone would be a really unfair way of judging the best of clan world. (Maybe a clan player of the year - over all competitions, as MPV is a CL thing)

I agree as well. I'd offer to keep the records myself, but I don't think I have the time.

Win % is a good indicator, absolutely - but we do need that minimum number of games played.

When I talked about wins, I was referring to large numbers of them - winning, say, 500 clan games is an incredible achievement.
I've been playing clan games for more than 2 years, and I still haven't won ONE hundred.

Sample size could be 100 or 150 games minimum? You'd need a scoreboard on the clan tab to properly calculate all of that though imo.

I've only been in a clan for just over a year, so I am no where near those numbers either. =)

LOL that's insane, maybe josko has 100 games at kort, but that's a big maybe
most clan players would never come close to that number

sempai suggested 500 wins, not played.

Many people will have 100 played, def not 500 though, which is why I suggested that. If you're going for best player and they are talking about all time here I am assuming, then someone who has only played 20 or 30 games does not deserve that title.

Like, I just searched you Benga, and you have around 400 clan games played. Josko has around 260. That is by labelled games with your clan names. It's not like they are suddenly going to go on something that I said. I am not even a clan leader, was just making a more realistic suggestion.
