i was thinking maybe a new kind of clan war, terminator style
as we play games clan members get knocked out of the slug fest
all members get 3 lives, once there gone they are out of the war for good
just need a clan to talk it through with and organise hence the feb start date.
who wants to try it out, need to try and run it so we get a medal at least

Pretty cool idea, actually. Lends a new kind of strategy (I don't want to take my clan's player out who has only 1 life left)... this concept could also be used with multiple clans.

thought trial it first with 1v1 then see how it goes, might have to tweak but makes for some fun

LoL great idea bragsie, that would put a twist to the usual strategies, 41 plus games to be counted for medal.Lets see how this goes and if anyone wants in.

Theres a similar thing going on with a POW system in 1RFG vs. OSA. I think we stole the idea from a TNC match up i cant think which one tho? (They have so many!)
Have a look anyway and maybe revise it for you needs. Seems to be working anyhow?!

41 games of 1 vs. 1 does not meet the credintials for a medal. See guidelines.

this is the OSA lay out as put in by benga
'RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
-all games are sequential
-No->manual, speed, beta,nuclear spoils,round limits
-banned maps: Supermax, Stalingrad, Hive
-no map repeats, map can be only used one time as a home map
-tiebreaker: random, quad, no spoils, chained, fog! with the best 4 performing players that are eligible to play in round 4
-tiebreaker is to be played only if needed
-NO 12 H-> this is a war!!
SPECIAL RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
POW
-every player eliminated 1st in a game in set 1, 2 or 3 of this war is considered a prisoner of war
-POW can't play in next set of game
-he can be saved only in game sets 2 and/or 3 and only on home maps of clans->max 5 saves per round
-to save POW, a home game of a clan will be labeled with his name and if won, he is freed
-freed POW can play in next set of games
-a player might become a POW more then once in a war
DEAD
-if a player is eliminated 1st in 2 or more games in the same set, he is considered dead
-dead players can't be saved and aren't eligible in any future games of this war
SETS
SET 1 - 5 quads - POW applies
SET 2 - 2 quads and 3 trips - POW and saves applies
SET 3 - 4 trips and 1 dub - POW and saves applies
SET 4 - 6 dubs'
just neds tweaking

Was talking about 1 clan v 1 clan not 1v1 games crowny
any takers for this war?
thought some more
1.perhaps the player first out loses a life
2. only have trips and quads games, dubs might knock out to many players, or keep dubs for the last 3 rounds.
3. the rounds would have to be high or players restricted to 3 games per round games would have to be complete before next round to count casualties
4. 12 games per round by 6 rounds 6 home 6 away, 72 games total
5. clan with the highest kill ratio bonus points(5 points), clan player with the highest kill ratio bonus points(1 per kill).
6. with the bonus would elimate tie breaker.
