In partial defense of the whole operation: JP has his hands tied a bit atm - there are things that require work in order to keep things moving and those things take time. It's unrealistic to think ANYONE is going to dedicate the hours it requires to just keep things functioning AND then go ahead and define issues, brainstorm, crowd source, create, refine and implement significant changes to something. It doesn't matter what that thing is, be it here or anywhere else in their life. So prioritizing keeping the lights on over other things makes perfect sense.
