Newcomers Cup [starting!]

Postby benga on Mon Feb 21, 2011 6:14 am

I am hosting this Clan Tournament to welcome newly started clans and those will be primarly accepted, but if needed will be filled by any interested clan.

Looking to replace the AKA invitational.
It looks good, specially with the new entrants. I presume it's for those that wouldn't qualify for something like Chucks Conquer Cup.
Might want to look into WG then, I assume they'd be interested

." Wars are to be played in 2 sets:
1st set only home games from higher seeded clan
2nd set only home games from lower seeded clan"
Kako ces ti odrediti poziciju klanova,ko je vise rangirani a koje nize rangirani?

"7.Clans have an option to veto 2 maps prior to game creation"
Ovo misim da nema veze-jer degradira onog koji odredjuje svoje home mape-to jos nigde niko nije odredjivao.

looking good but this veto thing is a bit silly and a waste of time say i send 1st set.

21 games.

i have 2 jamaica games. the other clan changes them. when they send me there set i will change there 2 best maps so in effect all you are really doing is changing it to.

19 home and 2 away games per set.

maybe change it a little bit up it to a 45 game challenge and give each clan 2 joker cards(for the whole tourney) were they can pass on a certain game but it still counts as a map use for the team that gave the games over.

Removed the veto part.
Everything other stays the same.
Lower seed still have a bit of advantage
by choosing the tie-breaking game.

wow! nice idea! I very like this idea. lower seeded clan is already undrdog due to their schedula (have to play vs top clans), so at least that rule would equalize strength between that 2 clans.

only what its problem, its very hard to ranking new clans, because they almost dont have enough results,to give hem proper ranking.

It's a complete joke that we can't now enter this nor the Conqueror's Cup.

Not impressed.

Have you ever heard of the wonders of the Private Messaging feature? Revolutionary I say.
More seriously if you can't get 16 clans we'd be fine with having a preliminary vs any clan, we want action! :D
