I genuinely liked your post, too. And for what it's worth (not much), I agree with you.

But what I enjoy most of all is reading about the exploits of The Evil Paratroopers of London. I fantasize about seeing that name on the roster of our division in the Clan League.

I think the Los Angeles Police Clan lacks the intriguing ring of The Evil Paratroopers of London. Of course I respect the boys in blue, they have an important and thankless job, and I wish them success in their world conquest endeavors. With the creation of the LAPC, there finally exists a positive representation of police to counter the negative of the Pig Renters.

40kguy wrote:comander i have a couble questions for you

1.how old do you think i am? because when i tell people my age they dont think its right.
2.yes it is obvious that kids dont have fully developed brains, but do you have a fully developed brain? im guessing you dont have as much as a grampa because they have more years to become wiser and such.

Commander, I think you could at least answer the grandpa brain question. I would look forward to your response.

And your rebuttal to 40kguy's closing argument below. I hope you can address the issue of kids acting in movies, which seems to form a main pillar of the argument.

40kguy wrote:and now for a final statement

if you judge a person by a age regardless of if there brain is developed whats different then judging people by the color of skin? a kid can do just as many things as adults. look at all the movies. how many kids are in there? there is at least one in a lot of them. do you think they get paid? yes they do. more and more kids are taking on responsibility for paying for college and cars. i have a job and im not old enough to vote yet. so a kid can do plenty of things an adult can we can have jobs we can act in movies and we even get in trouble for our actions.

1) I think you're 14.
2) When I say you have an underdeveloped brain, I am not talking about lack of experience. I mean that younger people literally do not have fully formed brains. There are many cognitive changes that will happen from age 14-20. No, I am not as "wise" as I will be when I'm 60. But I have the same amount of brainpower... listen, it's hard to explain because we're getting into scientific and psychological areas that I have limited knowledge of. You can do some research yourself. Your brain will change much more in the next few years than it will after you're 18, or 20.
3) 40k, I DO NOT JUDGE BASED ON AGE. I have seen you around the forums. There are many things you don't understand that you should. And there are many comments you make that make the reader go, "what the hell... this kid is ignorant..." It's so obvious, 40k. But I don't want to make this about you. This is about how, when we read young peoples' writing, we find it incredibly naive. We attribute that to your age. If you want us to treat you like an adult, so be it... but be prepared to be receiving a whole lot of negative comments, questions, and sentiment. You do not want to be viewed as an adult.
4) What the f*ck does kids in movies have to do with this? We're talking about how you act on the forums.
5) Saxlad, you could probably pass for a college student

So you act older than your age. Nice.

I'm going to reiterate this for you: We are not judging you on your age (caymanmew, monster10, 40k, majot... there are so many more). We see how poorly you guys communicate and how ignorant and just plain dumb your comments are. Then, instead of yelling at you and making fun of you (like we would to an adult), we let it slide and go along with it.

But when some kid tries to start a clan a few times, and instead of changing the name, creates a separate thread each time, we need to say something. This kid isn't cut out to run a successful clan. He should make a social clan or something.

I'm showing MY age here, aren't I? Instead of letting this go and leaving you alone, I can't bring myself to back off. Very childish of me.

We should make up, 40k. I don't want to carry around grudges.

Get in one last swipe at me (if you want) and we'll be done.

Unless, that is, you harbor no bad feelings and want to discuss this further. I am willing to do that.

For the record, it was not "iffy." It was completely obvious that his comment was directed at Cayman.

I think the main problem is language and spelling.

Overall, except for a few cases, you seem to have a pretty good grasp of what's going on.

So, technically, I guess you could pass for a 30-yr-old who didn't go to high school.

My younger bro is 14. He's on the autism spectrum... he definitely is less mature than you. He gets made fun of a lot :(

So I've seen a lot of bad stuff from 14-yr-olds. And I've also seen how underdeveloped their brains are. My experiences with my brother have had a huge effect on the way I think about this subject.

Okay. :(

Also, do you use Facebook + Formspring? Formspring especially is horrible. Middle schoolers stalk each other and make fun of each other and post overly-sexual comments on it. And the posts are all anonymous, so they can say anything they like. It's awful... really... compared to some of the idiots in his school, my bro seems smart.

Good! It's just a way for mean kids to abuse each other. It's a great site, but only for people who are mature enough to use it. And you seem like you are... but chances are, your classmates aren't. There's nothing worse than getting made fun of on YOUR OWN FACEBOOK WALL for all your classmates to see.
