Do you have to be a premium member to join a clan in Conquer club ive played for ages but never thought about joining a clan.

No, you don't have to, but some clans require it.

The league and clan challenges amount to a large number of games so that it is much more useful to have premium if you want to participate fully.

Yeah makes sense just dont plan on being a premium member when this is something i do inbetween other games
