CLAN WAR has erupted between Grim Reapers and The Fraternal Order of Exceptional Drinkers! This will be a combined team games and 1 vs 1 war, terms as follows:
Game count: 63 total (42 team, 21 1 vs 1)
20 doubles matches: 1 win = 1 point (GR creates 10, FOED creates 10)
20 triples matches: 1 win = 1 point (GR creates 10, FOED creates 10)
21 1 vs 1 matches: 7 best of three series, 1 series win = 1 point (GR creates 3 series/9 games, FOED creates 3 series/9 games, 1 series/3 games created by GR -- 3 random, escalating, chained, sunny games)
2 tiebreakers: random triples, escalating, chained, sunny (created by FOED) 1 win = 1 point
Round 1: each clan creates 5 doubles and 5 triples, GR creates 3 1 vs 1 series, FOED creates 1 tiebreaker triples match
Round 2: each clan creates 5 doubles and 5 triples, FOED creates 3 1 vs 1 series, GR creates random 1 vs 1 series, FOED creates 1 tiebreaker triples match
49 total points available, winner is clan with most points accumulated at end of war.
War rules: NO manual, nuclear, freestyle, trench, unlimited, or round limit games.
Beta maps allowed (3 maps max per clan total for entire war)
Map usage:
Team games: each map can be used once per game type, 2 max per clan.
1v1: each clan creates total of 9 games, no duplication of maps allowed. However, it's OK to use a map that was also used in any of the team games.
Max games per player:
Team games: 15 games max per player
1 vs 1: each player may participate in only two best of three series
Fog of War rule in effect, clans must either wait 12 hours to start turn or else copy and paste game log to show what territory was taken and from where. Fog of War rule does not apply for conquest maps where the initial distribution of territories is fixed, not random (e.g., Feudal War, Jamaica, etc). Fog of War rule does not apply if the only move is to deploy and fortify, and no territories are captures.
Timing out: allowed, but to be avoided if possible
Clans agree to resolve any possible disputes/misunderstandings in amicable and
mutually agreeable way without forfeits.
GR will create and update the clan war thread and submit request for privileges.
