We wanted more map rules but wanted to get this started after Turkey Day and mopping up by X-MAS. But I'm open to adding the nose picking rule.

ha ha, we could certainly add that rule. No picking your nose - capital offense! We want fifteen one-handed push-ups!

And I confirm that the Regiment agrees to all of said rules. Most of them are basic, hms, so never fear. heh

Understimating us, Crown? We annihilated RA back in the old days, and now we'll destroy the Warriors. It'll probably be close, but we shall prevail!

This one will be a big test for your new clan WAR... make or break, 1st Reg is not a push over that is for sure! GL to both clan, interested to see how WAR does.

I have a few friends in WAR and know they can play. Nothing against 1st Reg. but i think this will go to WAR by 5. GL both sides

Thanks, Grady. I was quite busy, yesterday, so I've just started sending out invitations. Looks like a couple of games will get underway as of today, however.

And the first victory goes to the Regiment! huzzah!

We have a potential issue forming in game 10160024 that I want to nip in the bud. WAR members are concerned because both TK and I missed turns consecutively (one each) and we ended up still in a better position than the WAR team afterwards. I would just like to point out, before accusations start flying about us cheating, that the misses legitimate and in no way strategic. Here are some things to consider:

First, this is the Christmas season and, as a result, many of us have a lot of things going on, especially over the weekends. Speaking only for myself, I had a work party and a family get-together over the weekend, in addition to all the other Christmas preparations going on. Thus, I had little to no time to check Conquer Club for turns. I tried to get on to take all my turns once a day, but was too late for my turn in this game.

Second, at the time of the misses sekretar had the only bonus in the game, which bonus we were trying to break. Thus, the resulting "good" position that the 1RFG team resulted in after the misses was more a product of WAR's bad dice than our misses.

Lastly, the misses do not break any of the clan war rules listed at the beginning of this thread.

Hopefully this clears up any issues that might be brought forward as the game progresses.

I say we take them out back and beat the shit out of them.

But anyhow, we just wanted you guys to feel good about yourselves in Round 1. round 2 is where we bring in the real heat.
