Generation One: The Clan vs A Fistful of Sixes
Generation One: The Clan has been called to war by A Fistful of Sixes. We have agreed on a setup to make sure that winner side receives a Clan Medal, therefore requirements for the challenge are following:
45 game challenge: 5 doubles, 10 triples and 5 quads for both sides (overall 10 dubs, 20 trips and 10 quads) + 5 Random/Esc/Chained/Sunny games (1 dubs, 2 trips, 2 quads).
A minimum of 10 players must be used
One map cannot be used more than 3 times (exception is random which can be used unlimited times)
No Freestyle, No Manual, No Nuclear, No Speed, No Beta
Random games will be started in December 2010
First batch of games (dubs+quads) will be created in the first week of January 2011 and second batch (trips) when most of batch 1 games are done
Games should be labelled: Batch 1 A Fistful of Sixes and Batch 2 A Fistful of Sixes / Batch 1 Generation One and Batch 2 Generation One
Any new decisions/changes will be made after a discussion between clan contacts.
Minimum Game Requirement Players who wish to earn a medal (winning side only): you must play in at least... a bunch of games and win at least one of them. Min Games = (11*2+22*3+12*4) / X * 0.5 = 136 / X*0.5[X=number of players your clan uses for challenge] When X=10 players: at least 6 games When X=15 players: at least 4 games When X=20 players: at least 3 games
May the challenge be clean (not counting the oil and blood spills on the glittering snow) and lets have a lot of fun!

Hmm, I don't see a rule anywhere that states that certain team games can't be above/below a certain %. There's a recommended setup of 25% each (dubs, trips, quads) + remaining just need to be team games which makes me understand that if both clans had agreed on 45 triples games then it should still be worthy of medal. If you have some other information then I hope you'll share it.

OH NO! NOT A MEDAL!?!? Regardless, this challenge clearly looks to fit within the rules that jpcloet posted in the medal thread.

It'd be ridiculous to disqualify this challenge for it's being heavy on triples games. This is an interesting matchup - FOS has a lot of very high ranked players, while G1 is the home of some of the most versatile players I know. I'll pick G1 in a narrow win. Good to see you guys active again!

Amazzony is correct. The Recommendations are being put in so that new clans have some guidance. Right now the requirement is simply 100% team games which may be revised soon to 90% due the wish of clans to still include some singles. I also like that the min requirements is posted as a guide in the first post. GL to both clans.

If you play 1 game,then you are not in combination to get medal,even if your clan win a chalenge( i think that these is how im understand)

Yes, I know that, and if you keep reading what I put under that sentence then you'll realise that my point of that paragraph was to show what is the minimum (i.e. "at least") number of games that needs to be played when clans use 10, 15 or 20 players in the challenge. My sentence might not be worded in the best way but I don't think I should be judged due to that as most people seem to understand my point.

It seems that FoS is also finding their way to random games after all the Christmas madness (happy holidays to everybody!) which means that the games should get started this year like it was planned.

3 games of the random batch are now done - City Mogul went for FoS, Doodle and South America for G1. Imperium Romanum and Das Schloss seem like they can go either way. Therefore overall score right now is G1 [2] and FoS [1].

Standings have been updated, including all random batch games and 2 G1 home dubs. aFoS b1 home games that we got a couple of days ago are been filled now, I sent out invites this morning to my clan members. I think we should get all games started by Sunday evening.
