Ill add my cents on this issue not that anyone really cares tho ;)

I completely understand how reptile feels. Most respectable clan players here on CC will always make sure the other team gets a snap. From reading the thread I do not think reptile was out of line saying what he did. It comes down to sportsmanship in my opinion. I do understand a huge game load also but it is hard to see how someone can miss it in all the games. Usually when starting the game takes more time then any other move. You have to think and plan out what is the best to do to set you up for the game. At this time someone you would/should notice that there has only been a fem minutes off the clock and the other team hadnt posted "Snap Taken". I know this war didnt have an 12hr fog rule, but again most clan players I know will always give that courtesy. All this said I have never had an issue with either reptile or TheCrown just an unfortunate situation.

Gl rest of the way anyhow.

Cheme, i was going to pm this to you but it needs to be public i think, this is my peace offering to you. A song from my heart:

You bring tears to my eyes, and warmth to my heart,
i'll love you forever, with all of my soul,
mr cheme i love you with all of my being,

i live for no reason other than you,
where would i be if i didn't find you,

i know the dynamite was just a flirt from above,
the only explosions are explosions of love,
boom boom pow you had me at hello, (See photo below that i copied from my wall)
with this i sign off with sweet dreams of you!

I've always assumed the 12hr rule wasa basic courtesey.
Just decide whether or not you want it at the start of the match.
No need for flames people.....are we grownups?

I would just like to add that I have played many games with Reptile and find him to be a great player who is very fair in all that he does. He will even help explain maps and how they work if you need help.
Reptile is a true class act on here. If I had a partner as versed in the maps as he is we would be a formidable team.
People need to to stop unloading on him especially if you do not know him or his play style.

As for the constant arguments throughout the Conquer Club realm pertaining to fog rules. It is very simple, if you don't like fog or aren't sure what your opponent might do then don't play them. I personally am a fan of Fog and really do not care if I or my opponent get a "snap" prior to moving. If you are familiar with the map and pay attention, you can usually figure out what your opponent is doing. I am tired of the constant "fog" complaining. Again if it bothers you then do not play and please do not ask for time to snap. The reason of fog is to make the game more challenging and to conceal your movements as best as possible---it is the element of surprise that makes it interesting.

I agree here. At MM we always play with the courtesy. Even in public games, we try to give the other clan the respect they deserve. However, that's not always the case. Some players just don't play like that. Each of us has our own methods, our own strategies, ect. That's why we are here to play competitively, to see who's is better. Sometimes we just get lost in the moment instead of enjoying it. Hope you guys come to an agreement here. reptile is probably my favorite Nebraskan, and I've never had any problems with Crown. Clinton got us out of the deficit, even if he is a Democrat!

The 12 hour rule is one that normally one should just let happen, unless it it on a map like feudal or AOR. I follow it just to give my teammates a chance to get into chat and waiting a little longer to take the first turn so the other team can click a couple buttons isnt that much of an inconvienence. And if there was something in the chat about it then at least acknowledging what another player asks as courtesy would be the best course of action

as far as one of chemefreaks post, I think that was out of line for somebody who is in a leadership position and should have been presented differently, or if presented at all not in the public forum.

for thecrown it may not fall under cheap tactics just bad sportmanship, as Ive seen other tactics that would me mroe questionable that what happened in this challenge

reptiles post crossed the line. it was a flame and a bait that clearly violated site rules. i probably should have reported it and moved on, but that is just not how i roll (none of the posts have been reported, btw). it was a measured response and was complete in-line with the accusations contained in the prior post. i really enjoyed writing it too.

Cheme, there are a lot more things i want to say that you are so completely off on, but...

I guess i was mainly more upset that i thought it was more your job to DIFFUSE a situation rather than egg it on as you did. But i realize that i did maybe bait you a little bit. But now i am trying to bring light to the situation and it would be great if you could accept it as that. However you are right, my post did cross the line and i never said otherwise. I was just surprised you would do the same as a CD. I hope that you got as much enjoyment out of writing it as i do reading it. I have read it like 5 times and get a little chuckle each time. But seriously, calm down buddy and lets move on.... right?

Just keep in mind that the 3rd post on the second page started all this. A little extreme i think, i wasnt trying to bait anyone in any way with that post, merely providing feedback and thought it was ok to do so. I aplogize for baiting you with what i said on the third page post #1 about you being a CD, i still think you should control yourself a little more ALSO but that comment about your title was uncalled for. i was just trying to pay you back for that ridiculous post.

Yes i did cheme, yes i did. I too enjoyed every minute of it. I am hoping you got a little chuckle out of it at least....? I think what crazy is saying is that i am not a clan leader anymore and not a mediator of any sort, while you are is all.

thanks crown. i misread you before... i realize i should have pm'ed you if it was a big deal to me. Meaning you are a good player and a nice one, but didnt realize the sportsmanship thing. otherwise i think you would have done it differently as i would have mentioned something more direct.

anyway, i am very impressed with the way your clanmates took crossword from us.

Finally updated the thread with RH's third set of games and how those are going. The war is winding down, with TNC emerging victorious. We salute the clan members of RH for fighting so well right up until the bitter end. Pity about the little spat we had in here but we'll all learn from this.

We wish RH well in the clan world and future wars. We'll see each other on the battlefield again one day!
