Billclinton13 has asked me not to make any more posts here, so i am going to limit any more posts beyond this one to only answering bruce. Because i know that he will at least give it the time of day (even though his first post was 100% wrong and against me), but i know he is a real representative of Conquerclub and wont just go trying to get a good quick reward from thecrown.

Oh and btw cheme, thanks for accepting clan director... we needed a paper &%^#@, the rest of us didnt have time and were wondering who would want to feel important.

I am now home from work and I can respond to all this properly. Let me first start by saying I am not bias to either side and I will try to keep this post as straight forward as possible.

Regarding the 12 hour fog rule: It was not listed or agreed upon in this war, so therefore technically it does not have to be followed.

TheCrown joined the games and took his turns pretty quick.

Reptile did not like he did not get a look in foggy games, which I think many of us understand.

Reptile could have been a bit more straight forward in asking for TheCrown to wait to move until the other side had a snapshot.

I have no idea why TheCrown would join a game and play ASAP. That means he did not talk at all to his teammates. That seems odd to me, but to each their own.

So that leaves us with 2 people now upset, and things going downhill fast. I will say this... Reptile should not have called TheCrown a noob. Sure you might not like what he did (I might not have liked it either), but no need to flame.

TheCrown, you could have waited for your teammates to look with you?? and or someone from RH to get a snapshot if they asked nicely, which looks like what happened at first. Sure an agreement was not agreed on, but that is just being a good sport. Reptile is right that most all the top clans use this agreement to help make it fair for all.

As far as TheCrown not knowing, I find that a bit hard to believe that in all the wars TNC has played that nobody has ever brought this up before to you all. With that said (taking my mod hat off for a second), I feel the pain from reptile. It baffles me why someone would want to try and "game" the opposition. Then again, maybe it just was an honest mistake.

I know not everybody will agree with the 12 hour fog rule, but I think we can all agree to be gentlemen about these sorts of things. Going forward I hope we can all be civil and no action will be needed.

If you are the home team and choose fog you risk the chance of not seeing the map before the other team goes. Play sunny if this bothers you.

If you are the away team You can't complain because you'll see the map first.

I hate the 12 hour fog rule. I'll talk to my teammates before I go and that usually takes a while, but if I go before they see the map then that's too bad. And if I choose foggy and the away team goes before I see it, too bad for me. Play on.

I really don't understand this argument. You know the risks when you choose foggy.

Thank you bruce, i realize i was not politically correct in how i went about it (other than the first game, and maybe the second game, then i got impatient with how he didnt care). However i should have probably pm'ed him about it and approached it more of the way you did with this once you looked at what both parties were trying to say rather than just posting off of what he was telling people. I apologize for letting it get out of hand crown, i am not as good of a writer as bruce. my communication needs work. I still dont respect thecrown but am willing to let it go if you are.

As far as the forefeits thecrown was mentioning, i have never wanted those as there is no reason for them. i wouldnt accept them anyway, i like to keep things fair, and forefeits due to rules that were not in black and white are not fair.

1. You actually have no problem technically with any of what happened. You just expected everyone else to follow your idea of proper etiquette, rather than the agreed rules.

Jesus christ, the 12 hour fog rule is the most asinine idea ever created anyway (someone should just fucking code BOB so it automatically has a snap when the game is filled or something). Complaining that someone wasn't chivalrous enough to post a snap when the rule isn't even in effect is the worst excuse I've seen to get all pissy in a clan war thread.

Reptile, you say you don't want a forfeit? so after reading the entire thread, am I to understand that this entire thing was meant to show us all what a "cheap" player thecrown is because he took his turns too quickly. Who died and made you king? thecrown mentioned that he had 100+ games going, thats quite a load. so when he takes his turns he goes in, does what is expected of him and goes on to the next.
