It's also my feeling that rounds should start at a much faster...more controlled if you will, pace.
How much time does clan to clan/round to round negotiations eat up in every stinkin war? One week? Two weeks? More? Get rid of all that madness and just start the games for cryin out loud. And- all the rules need to be enforced, painful as it may be. Don't join in the allotted time, for example? Fine, consequences are levied...no more smoochy smooch, nicey nice don't rock the boat clans deciding the punishments or lack thereof stuff, it will only take a few 'harsh' consequences and people will learn to follow the rules.
Negotiate the rules before the tournament starts and everyone and every war plays by the same book for that years tournament...no exceptions.

Thankfully the hive games weren't the deciders in the TOFU war. Negotiations generally only take a week or so. Round to round negotiations? There isn't really any negotiating once the war starts, just the beginning.
Not sure what the rest of thats about, but dont know of any issues with punishments / lack thereof in the current wars.

What if the Hive games were the deciders though?...that is easily imagined, we would be out another month, maybe two.
People dont join in time or games dont get filled in time or made in time or whatever...it happens and it slows down the works, a 1 day delay here...two there.... adds up over a year. Negotiations take time too. How long have we been negotiating the finals, for example, maybe less than a week....a little over a week....? Could games already be underway? Extrapolate.....
Listen, the truth is that I don't care one way or the next about it but, if you want to save time then every bit counts, yes?
