Concise description:
Provide a chat box in CC Event pages to allow participants in the event to chat with larger tourney group and not just in game.
Specifics/Details:
Currently, most formal CC Events have an event or tourney page that lists event description, round details, and then the leaderboard, and then the running list of all games, then a list of active games.
Would like to see an event specific chat box on that page, as currently the only chat feature is within an individual game or the larger forums.
Example: CC Map Masters has larger forum thread, but an easier to use chat box could be loaded on each indivual CC Map Master event page, so the 16 players could chat about the Pearl Harbor, Doodle Earth tourney they are in together at that time.
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
Create more community feel to tourneys.
Most tourney players are regulars, so it would nice to have a feature that lets people chat (or not) about the tourney as a whole, maps, pairings, etc.
Mostly just want to trash talk, or commiserate getting paired against josko or nibotha...
