Noir Gaming

Concise description:
  • Have a an option for games to be played in black, grey, and white

Specifics/Details:
  • Replace the usual colours in the map with grey shades, from white to black.
Have all players as the same shade.
Have a film noir/ old-school war movie feel as a fun option.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • It'd look kinda cool if it could be implemented.
People would really have to pay attention to the maps without the colours.
More realistic representation of warfare before colour TV changed everything.
Finally settle debate between whether Charcoal Campfire and Midnight Ash are different paint colours.
    It'd just be fun

I 100% approve this suggestion and it's implicit subclause of including a medal for forum posts.

Good to see a bit of support for this one. Thanks, DY. I doubt there's a medal in it for peeps who'd like it either way. Could be a good one.

HR- I disagree with you a lot, but can you explain? That post makes you sound like the villain in a Thomas Harris novel.

If you in a area with slow download you will see a white screen with troop circles and troops appears first. 15 or 20 seconds later the map art will appear, the map "skin". Without the skin the map is naked, but all the connections are functional. Just no skin. Naked, like the end result of a burlesque show.

So, if you had to put it in terns that didn't sound like the police had just warned me that the call was coming from inside the house, how would you put it?
