Flipping Through Moves

Why is there no function to flip though finished games, move by move, from start to finish?
Currently you can only look at snapshots and read the log, and snapshots are only available for games that you yourself played.
On chess sites, not only can you read through the notation from start to finish, but you can also flip through the games, to see what the board looks like after each move. This is crucial to analysis and improvement in the game.
However on this site, the best you can do is read the logs, and you have no sense of what the board looks like after every move. I'm not quite sure how to accurately analyze games and thus improve without this feature!
